Indeed colours are better in v1. But the halo is good and it also fills in that extra space.

Like you said I guess the light sources are good. The text is good too but I don't like the box around it. Doesn't fit. The splatter-like ffects are cool but the sig overall is really boring. If you were to have wanted to make a sig and made this you'd have gotten probably 4 or 5/10

The lines do look cool but not in this sig. I don't like em much. The colours and design are good though. Might need some filling or vector though at the top right space. Feels empty there.

Well, I've never made a great sig using halos. But this is the best I've come up with. Tried to make light and dark and the render contributes nicely to that. Followed a tut to make those fancy lighting-ish lines.
