Thomas grinned darkly. "Are you really going to risk her life?" he asked. "Even if you slit my throat, I will still have time to shoot her. The only thing that would save her is to become a vampire. You probly don't want that, judging from the way you have kept her alive this far. It's your choice, Missy." he put his finger on the trigger, ready to fire. Dawn could only listen in horror. Either way, he wins she realized.
Mia struggled to her feet, cursing under her breath. Why had she ever agreed to move somewhere cold? She slipped again, starting another whole string of curses. Good thing her jacket was loose, no one could tell yet.
Thomas smiled darkly. "Full of spirit, aren't you? You would have made a fine addition to the army." he threw her out of the way, ran over to Dawn, and pulled her in front of him, pointing the gun at her again. "I still have two bullets left." Dawn felt frozen. She could feel the cold metal of the gun pressed against her head. "Missy, go." she whispered. "Just get out of here!" Dawn hoped the demon had got away. He had seemed really hurt to know he had picked the wrong girl to fight with.
Achara paid the taxi driver, and got out. The restaruant looked nice. She went inside. A girl was setting up decorations. Achara realized she must be early, but she walked over to the girl anyway. "Excuse me." she said quietly, hoping the girl would hear her.
Dawn backed away. Then she stopped. Missy! she turned to see Missy looking for Leon. "Missy, run!!" Dawn screamed. "Get away from here!!" Thomas came toward Dawn. He smiled. "You're friend is still here...good. She can be finished here then." He reached into his pocket, and pulled out his gun. Then he pointed it at Dawn. "Missy." he called out
Mia tried to not notice the people walking on the other side of the street. She used to be like them, but once people saw her now...they turned and walked the other way. She did try to ignore them, but then she slipped and fell. Nice one, Mia she slowly got back up. Way to notice it's finally winter out.
Dawn got up, and slowly walked over to the demon. She couldn't think of anything to say. Then she looked up, and all the blood ran out of her face. Thomas smiled, limping forward. "Miss me?"

Dawn ran to Missy, and put an arm around her. "Its gonna be okay." she whispered, keeping an eye on the demon. Where the hell was Spike and Angel when she needed them?
Achara picked out a dark violet purple purple dress, one she hadn't worn in a long time. It was a spaghetti strap, and set off her hair. She let her hair down, it was all wavy from the braid. She also found a pair of high heels, black. All in all, she looked pretty good. She called a taxi, and made sure she had all her money. Thirty minutes later, she was on her way to the restaruant.
Dawn ran to Missy. "Get away from her!" she shouted, trying to push the demon away.
God this is horrible. How people can exist like this I don't even want to know. Why can't people stop this from happening before it happens? And the guy who founded this should die in prison.
"Missy, run!" Dawn yelled, getting to her feet. She raced toward the demon.
Achara lay on the couch, wondering whether to go to the party or not. She had a couple dresses, some money to get a taxi. Oh, what the hell she figured, then went upstairs to check out her closet. I need a good time anyway.
Achara kept walking, keeping her head down. Sooner or later she arrived at home. She unlocked the door, stepped inside, and sighed. Another night alone, at home. She wondered how it would be when the baby arrived...
Dawn tried to shock the demon again. She had it rebound on her, and she flew across the room. Her hand was ripped out of Missy's. She hit the wall and slid down to the floor. Today just isn't a good day she thought as she struggled to stand.
"Leon!!" Dawn shrieked. She shoved her hand on the demon's face and shocked him. "Spike!!" she screamed again. Where the hell was he??
Achara nodded, turned, and for the second time, almost ran into Daniel. "Sorry." she said, looking up at him.
Dawn stared. What the.... She immediatly reached for her powers. "Spike??" she yelled, gripping Missy's wrist.
