Xika bent down again. Something shiny stuck out of the ground. She bent, pulling it out of the ground.

I have never seen one exactly so, but most highschools seem the same. Marble flooring, or some type of hard rock or tile, small lockers, unfortunate resemblence to prison. The small details are usually off, but generally all the high schools are alike.

Xika stood up slowly, shaking off the weariness. She still needed to find a way to another world, and it was either steal, or portal. The first would get her in trouble, the second would make her even more tired.
Xika felt the sun on her face. She shook her head, opening her eyes. After being stunned by the light for a few seconds, her eyes adjusted.
