Eva smiled slightly, tucking her hair behind one ear and standing up. "That's true.....but maybe you could change it."

Eva kneeled beside him, concerned. "You okay?" She placed two fingers on his neck, checking his pulse.
She tilted her head. "Why not?"
Eva reached the shore, and shook her head, her wet hair slapping her face. The shards hovered in a circle around her, almost like little birds. Sharp birds. She smiled, standing up, then went towards her home, running as fast as she could. She would have to steal food tomorrow. Tonight she would just have to be hungry.
Eva looked out the window, at the lake. "Oh, my god." She ran through the hallways, ignoring people. She got to the lake, and put a hand on Felix. "You in there?"

Eva opened her eyes, circling around Nox. "Family is a defined word. And as you may have noticed, I'm human." She experimentally feinted to the left, her eyes wary. "Now leave her alone. Use me."
Eva closed her eyes for a second. "The elf you put the device in. Leave. her. Alone. Or I swear I will make you suffer."
