    Aly snarled, then looked away from him, towards the barrier, then back to him, making her meaning clear. If he wanted to be such good friends, why didn't he lower the damn barrier? Her stomach growled, and she shook her head, thinking. She would be forced to morph back, at the rate her body needed food,and she hadn't given it any.

    Nadia glanced over at Nox, then groaned. "I have to ride with you. Eva, you better not get hurt, or so help me, I will heal you in the most vicious way possible." She tumbled off the horse, then watched as Eva rode toward the horizon. "Get over here, money bags."

    The Game

    She nodded sympathetically, her eyes sad. It was hard enough to be a soldier, but to have to try to help the soldiers, then watch them die before your eyes was even worse. Especially when they were close to you, people you knew. "How long did you do that?" she asked, playing with a bit of her hair.

    She elegantly raised her head, giving him a stare most humans would find disconcerting. He wasn't human,that's for sure. He didn't smell soft and sticky sweet like they did. She sighed, then scratched an itch behind her ear with her back paw. She didn't plan on being friends with anyone who trapped her.

    Nadia sighed. "He can't see that far, Eva. He has poorer eyesight." She pulled out a bow and strung it, while Eva pulled out her dagger. "Let's have some fun, Eva." she grinned, her eyes cold.

    She growled, not taking her eyes off of him. He smelled different, like a sharp, burning scent. Not like the demons, who had a smell akin to acid. This was more bitter like, like her scent. She could see how she had gotten confused. It wouldn't happen again.

    BIC: Aly used the moment that Legend had to elbow the guard. Taking his dagger, she coldly stabbed him, then freed Eva. "Fight or Flee?" she asked, grinning. Eva gave her a sideways look, then grinned the same way. "Fight." they said together. Eva lifted up Aly and threw her into a guard, then shifted into a panther and tackled another.

    She smiled, watching him fondly, then turned, thinking. Did she need to disappear for a second? Not yet. She let one small tear escape down her cheek before quickly wiping it away and turning to face the boys.

    The Escape

    Xion looked up at him, her smile still fixed in place. She could feel panic, just like she had felt that same time, bubbling up in her chest, making her want to scream. She wouldn't listen to it. "I'm fine." she answered, smiling. She wouldn't scream, wouldn't make any kind of noise. It wouldn't matter if she had anyway.
