Xion noticed, then looked up at him. "Are you okay?" she tilted her head. "I mean..I didn't know you could do things like that. How did you learn?" Her mind was full of questions, the memories pushed back for a bit.
"You know I'm..different, right?" she whispered, closing her eyes. How could someone even begin to tell another that their life would end in a matter of days? Never mind that they might have to be the one to kill them.
Xion hummed a soft song gently, hugging him. "It'll be fine." she murmured. "Me and the baby will both be fine." she said with assurance. Her eyes shined in the dark, making her face stand out. Aerith shook her head. "It has to happen, Cloud. I'm sorry....but...I can visit you more often then Zack can." she whispered, looking up at him. "You can't stop this. No one can."
Aliaxane looked over at the late comer and suppressed a smile. There was always one. She then ignored him, and the meeting, going back to whispering to her glass. They had more interesting things to say, and its not like she didn't know what would happen. Eveything was so predictable.
She shivered, but felt better. "Wow...." then she hugged him tight. "Thank you." she murmured. Why hadn't she trusted him? He would never hurt her.
Her laugh echoed down the hallway. "You could try, but to what end? Xion will still die, and you still won't learn." she went into her room, panting as she sat on her bed. Xion had left the castle, that much was certain. Xion slowly shivered, feeling like her responses were delayed. "Demyx..." she should tell him. She should. He should know, and so should Axel. They had rights to.
Xion smiled. "She taught me most...she said experience would do the rest....." She looked up at him. "What are you thinking?" she asked, her voice soft. Aerith nodded, leaning her head on his chest for a moment. "I"ll be fine, Cloud." she murmured, smiling. "I have some time left before I....leave." She knew in her heart what would happen, but she didn't need Cloud to know. Xion had seen herself alone, sometimes with Cloud or Tifa, but Aerith would die alone. She wouldn't let Cloud or any of her friends watch something like that.
She smiled, closing her eyes. "I don't want you to die in my stead." she murmured. "Death isn't so bad. Everyone you knew is there, and its warm. Nothing hurts." she played with one of Roxas' hands, losing herself in her memories again.
Xion hesitated. Trust me..... she slowly held out her hand. "Kay." she whispered. "I'll try." The last person to say those words.....but Axel wasn't him, he wouldn't do that.
Xion resisted slightly, then hugged him gently. "You're a sweet guy, but there is no way in hell I"m drinking that stuff." She declared, her eyes shining. "It burns all the way down, and then it hurts my tummy."
Daine shrugged, then smiled slightly. "In that case, two tips. One, you should memorize my scent so you know how to find me. And two, you need to find her on your own." She patted the girl's good shoulder, then walked off towards where the guy had went. She wanted to study him.
She propped herself up on one pillow and smiled. "You're doing it. I don't sleep much anyway. Nightmares." she tapped her head with one hand. "I just don't want to be alone." she moved closer to him, suddenly cold. "Not that I"m afraid of death."
"I've given you enough. You should learn from your mistakes, Axel. Making friends does no good." she turned and ran down the hallway, grinning despite the pain. Job well done.
She started humming, to think about other things. It was an old song her mother used to sing. She smiled, her memories coming alive along with the song.
Xion looked over at him, her eyes hidden in the shadows. "Why would I regret it?" she asked, plainly confused. "There are stresses that come with everything. Besides, even if I regretted it, I would never take it back." she smiled reassuringly, then closed her eyes, leaning her head back.
She ducked under a tree, then untied Eva and set the horse loose, whispering to it. "I suggest you do the same." she told Nox, leaning Eva against the nearby tree.
Daine stood up, then offered the girl her hand. "You have a few choices. You can come with me and I can see what I can do, you can find the one who created you and stay with them, or you can wander on your own. The first would be best, the second better, and the third worst. But choose, quickly please. I don't want to meet any others."
Aly nodded, then gestured he go first. She had no idea where they were going, after all. Just a name and a picture.
Xion grinned, then danced out of his reach, as if reading his thoughts. "It'll be fine. Everything heals eventually." she skipped to the beds, then towards the door, wondering how far she could make it before he caught up to her.
Eva smiled embarrasedly, then nodded, leaning on him. "Where are we going to go?"
