She smiled, pulling her knees to her chest. "Of course..." Just then Nadia dumped a lot of wood into a pile, and sighed. "Behave, kiddies, Mommy's back home." She placed the wood into a pyramid like structure and sighed. "Any conjure fire?"
O. M. G. Awesome profile, but hard to type on.
She held her head, not needing this right now. She wondered if Axel liked her gift now. "I need to know." she whispered. "I gave you a choice." It wasn't like it was easy for her, taking someone's life and trying to keep it from mixing with hers.
Aly panted, sitting with her back to the tree. She didn't like magic, and of it. It scared her, made her heartbeat race. She slowly slumped down to the ground, feeling herself weaken. Stupid stupid girl. Stealing food was so much easier as a human. She lay her head on her paws, closing her eyes.
Aerith gently sat down next to him, smiling her smile. "Cloud...We do have time....And I'll try and stay here as long as I can. I promise. Just....You have to let me go." she tilted his head, looking at his blue eyes. "You can do it." Xion was confused, but she smiled hesitantly. "We decided on Alex or Aerix. Depending on whether its a boy or a girl." she explained, her voice quiet. She hesitated, clenching her hands. "I wish I could control this." she murmured, almost admitting her fear.
She ignored him, and kept going, concentrating. She couldn't leave his mind like this in any case. Her head felt full to bursting, and she pulled away, shaking. Now she had to go through them herself, and try not to lose herself in the process. Xion tucked Roxas into the bed, a single tear slipping down her face as she smiled slightly. One safe, three to go. Backing away, she wobbled, then leaned against the wall, and closed her eyes, exhausted.
Aly rolled to her feet, then rubbed her arm, grimacing. "Damned claws...not a clue." she grinned, then threw one of the knives into a creature. "You?"
Eva smiled, then shook her head. "I was born this way, so why try to change something I am?" she asked, her eyes bright. "I'm content with this."
Aly slashed at another, then tripped; one had grabbed her leg. "Damn." She slashed at it, and rolled, only to be pinned by another. She struggled, slicing off a few of its fingers, but not enough to make it let her go.
Eva smiled, leaning against the tree. "Apparently it's a little of both. I inheritated some power from my mother...and apparently acquired some of it from the places I've been." she grinned as he stayed standing.
Xion took a deep breath. "I'm sorry." she whispered, then closed her eyes, finding her source of power deep inside her. She went into it, then lashed out at Roxas' mind with it, grabbing hold, and slowly going through his memories. She winced at the pain, but kept going. To any one else's view, they would see her wtih her eyes closed, both of them glowing slightly.
Aly whirled, pulling out her second knife, then slashed at one, back flipping to a better position. "Quit lying around!" she yelled at him, her eyes intense. All her focus was on the battle.
She smiled, bringing her knees to her chest. "I would have gone mad if Nadia hadn't helped me. I didn't even know they were dead people until she figured it out." she shook her head. "Nadia is so different." She patted the ground beside her. "You don't have to keep standing, you know."
She watched him, then sighed. "I would rather not pull it from your mind, Roxas." she murmured. "But I will, if I have to." The experience would be unpleasant and it would hurt, but she needed to know. She led him to the bed and made him sit down.
Aly jumped, then drew her knife, backing away. "What kind of trouble have you gotten into now?" she asked. "They don't look like gamblers to me."
Eva looked up. "Their voices." she said, smiling slightly. "The ones who die around me." Shivering slightly, she looked back at where Nadia had disappeared to, thinking.
Xion sighed, then pulled him to his feet gently. "You should be in bed." she murmured, her eyes big in her small face. "You won't get better jumping about."
She shook her head. "I mean, how long have you known? And not told me?"
Nadia rolled her eyes. "I'm going to get stuff for a fire. Try not to flirt too much in my absence." she walked into the darker parts, muttering to herself. Eva smiled, looking up at him, while waving to Nadia. "I'm okay. It's hard...hearing so many...." she quieted for a second, then smiled again.
Aly nodded. "How long did it take you to figure it out?" she asked, half smiling as she kneeled down, pretending to tie her shoe.
