Daine smiled slightly, tying her hair back. "Don't curse us. Shall we go, then?" she smiled, this time the smile meeting her eyes.
Aly stuck her hand in one woman's pocket, gently taking out a few more coins, enough to buy some more food. She smiled, withdrawing her hand, then waited till a vendor was busy with another customer, and stole some bread. Hiding it under her shirt, she ran for the nearest alley to eat, again.
She shook her head, then giggled. "I'll be fine. They do dry naturally." Her hair dripped into her eyes as she was slowly pulled to her feet, and she pulled it over her shoulder with one hand, to keep it out of her face.
Daine was taken aback, but then smiled slightly. "While that shows you have power, have you ever killed one?" The wind stirred her hair gently, and she brushed it out of her eyes, curious.
Eva looked up at him, her eyes unreadable. "Are you alright?" she asked, taking his hand. She did want to give him comfort, but did he want it?
She giggled, then brushed the hair off her face. "I guess so." She took his hand, still giggling. "It was going to happen sometime."
Gasping for air, Aly pushed herself to her knees, panting. She couldn't run that far, she shouldnt' have...but she would do it again. She had to survive, no matter the cost. Pushing her hair back, she slowly got to her feet, trembling. She needed food, and soon.
She gently rubbed her finger over the dagger, her eyes thoughtful. "You know any weapon will do." she murmured, pulling her hand back. "And I don't know if you give them enough credit."
She gasped for air, running along the roofs, then jumping. Everytime she landed, her ankle's throbbing became worse, making it harder to keep going. Please, gods, let something stop this. A missile of some sort flew by her head, and she ducked, rolling to a halt, gasping.
She shook her head, her eyes bright. "No wonder people love it sooo much." She twirled around, wobbled, and stopped, regaining her balance. "There's an undercurrent." she stated, mostly for herself. "I wonder wh-" she stepped into a hole and fell, laughing as she splashed into the ocean.
Gasping for air, she rounded a corner, then tripped, sprawling on her face. Getting back to her feet quickly, she ran for an alley, cursing as her newly sprained ankle throbbed. What else was there? The roofs.
She smiled, then inclined her head. "Thank you." she murmured. She sighed, then stood up, and held out her hand. "We best move on, before the werewolves come. I woul escape, but you..." she grinned.
She giggled, looking down at the waves. "That might not be so bad." she remarked. Her hair blew in the gentle breeze, and she brushed it impatiently out of her eyes. "It's not cold." she realized in surprise.
She ruffled her fur, then shifted back, wringing out her hair. "If you think so." she smiled slightly, then sighed. "No matter how many times I do this, I never get used to wet clothes." She smiled slightly.
Having finished with the apple, she wiped her hands, then darted out into the crowd, searching for more. She ducked a smack from someone, and grabbed a few coins from another. Running, she heard some people, having realized what she was up to, give chase.
She nodded, gingerly stepping into the ocean. She giggled again when it lapped at her feet, and almost fell over.
Hm....what to do...
Aly wandered the streets, her hand darting into one man's pocket, then pulling out an apple. She skipped away from him, then hid in an alley, cradling the hard found food in her hands. Biting into it, her hollow eyes stared at the street as she savored the taste. She had to, when every meal you had may be your last.
