Okay, I'll try to be here.
She nodded slightly, pressing her face into his shoulder. "You won't break it, right?" she murmured, trying to sound brave and calm. Her papa had only promised two things, and nothing like this. Holding Rhone tightly, she shook her head. "You won't break it."
Xion nodded. "I still feel sick and dizzy, but I felt like that before." she murmured, closing her eyes. "I'm glad you're okay, I should be able to fight with you." she sighed. "Just another day or so and I'll be back to normal for a bit." Tifa darted out into the street, touching Cloud's shoulder gently. "Cloud?" she needed to tell him, when a sudden flash of thought occured. How had she not thought of this? She grabbed his shoulder harder. "Cloud!"
She watched him, smiling a little. "Fun work?" she asked, tilting her head as she watched him. It was interesting..he must have categorized it all in his head. She didn't understand how something like that could work, let alone be done.
Turn around, open the door to the closet, release the demon from hell I keep in there, and leave the room, conveniently locking the door and forgetting where I placed the key, then turning on Van Helsing with the sound maxed out.
She closed her eyes, tightening her grip when he didn't shove her away. The memories rose to greet her, memories of pain, and nights spent crying, only to wake up to a slap or being thrown across the room. She whimpered slightly, feeling tears of fear and sadness under her eyelids. Life hadn't seemed to be as bad as she had thought it was.
She wrapped her arms around his neck this time, holding him closer as they kissed. He was always so much warmer then her, it was nice. She wondered what Demyx would say, and felt a pang of guilt for Roxas, but shoved it away. "I don't know." she murmured, thinking elatedly that if she hadn't been holding on to him, she might have fallen.
Xion shook her head and brushed the tears away, smiling a little at him. "It's fine." she murmured, sitting up slowly. "Aerith made me all better, but she isn't...." she shook her head, then hugged him. "I'm glad you're okay."
Aw, thanks :glomp:
She shook her arm out, flexing the hand and fingers, then smiled. Good as new. Turning to the house, she cautiously stepped inside, her eyes curious. "So this is what the house of a witch looks like." she murmured, tying her hair back.
Okay...I don't know what to post in that case.
alrighty then.
back. :glomp: Can i Have a recap?
She blushed slightly, closing her eyes. She liked this, this closeness. It wasn't anything like what she had had with Roxas. He had always seemed to push her away. Axel didn't push her away. "Interesting, hm?" she smiled a little, opening her eyes again. The blue in them seemed to shine. "I always thought eccentrical was the word."
Aerith opened her eyes slowly, then pulled herself into a sitting position, groaning slightly. She rubbed her temples, feeling a headache come on, then listened, both with her ears and mind. No one near was hurt, but no one was close besides Xion. Then again, her powers had dwindled for now. Tifa must have gone after Cloud...she sighed, then tried to pull herself off the couch, only to sink back down. Maybe she had put too much in..but it had been worth it, and it would be worth it, to make sure Xion was alright. Xion pressed her face into the pillow so only her eyes were visible. She listened to Aerith, realizing she was awake. Her stomach turned, and she mentally told it to hush, still listening. If she was such a burden, why did she stick around? Why did she put everyone, including her own baby, at risk? She buried her head into the pillow, crying silently. Another stage. Tifa ducked a heartless, then punched it, making it disappear. She sighed, then slumped against a wall. She had lost Cloud's trail long ago, but didn't want to go back to Aerith empty handed. Her mind whirled, and she sighed again. She was never as good at tracking as Cloud had been.
Xion cradled her head, wincing. It hurt even to open her eyes. What the hell kind of spell was that? She closed her eyes again, tears of pain forming under them. Would time take the hurt off of this one too?
Daine nodded. "I'll be right back." She headed toward the sound of running water, her arm throbbing painfully. Finding the creek, she kneeled down, then slid her arm into it, closing her eyes and whispering a few words. A soft blue light surrounded her arm, making the pain go away. She smiled, the light turning her eyes a bright teal.
Okay. Xion and Aerith are taken care of easy, but what should I do with Tifa?
She hesitated, then hugged him. It was something she had seen friends do on TV when they were happy with one another. "Thank you." she murmured, her heart racing. He had said he wouldn't hurt her, he had promised...but all promises can be broken. She still was willing to try. If this went wrong then she had no place to be. "Dads are overrated." she said quietly. The twinge in her back reminded her of that.
She smiled slightly, then spontaneously reached up and touched his face, her palm brushing from his cheek to his jaw, her eyes sparkling. Her hand dropped back to her side, her blue eyes calm again. "I went for a walk." she murmured. "He caught me alone, after......" she took a deep breath, then smiled. "Just wait until they start screaming again. It is very distracting."
