Xion trembled, the emotions were tearing her apart. She felt Tifa's arms around her, heard the other woman speaking to her. She felt gratitude to the other woman. She was trying to stay calm, trying to help. Taking a deep breath, Xion spread herself slowly, calming herself down. She had to keep it together. "She was my mother." she whispered, not totally meaning physically. "She was my mom." Tears came to her eyes. "I want my mother back." Tifa held the girl tighter, then gently picked her up. "Dont' talk to her." she ordered the strange man. "You have no right, none at all. I will kill you if you touch her." She gently shouldered Roxas out of the way, taking Xion outside.
Xion shivered, then backed up, hiding behind Axel and Demyx. The leader scared her, scared her with his unfeeling eyes and emotionless ways. She breathed in and out, trying to stay calm, and failing.
She giggled again, covering her mouth with her hand, then thought. "Sea salt ice cream?" she suggested, hugging herself. "I mean, if you guys don't want to do anything..."
She opened the door, then closed her eyes, waiting for them to adjust to the brightness. "It's so pretty." she murmured, going in to touch the sparkly lights. "What are they?" Was this a trap? It might be...the sparklies were so pretty. Maybe if she just touched one...
Aly nodded, then turned to Jasped. "Can you turn around?" she asked. "Or go outside? I need to do some girl stuff." She would have taken care of this earlier if she hadn't been so preoccupied with...these two. Her heart heavy, she sighed, then smiled a little, waiting.
Aerith gasped, then crumpled to the ground, blood pooling beneath her fingers. She tried to hold on, tried to, but in the end, it was futile. They say your life flashes before your eyes, and they were right, in part. She saw memories, people, places, things she had done, and would never do. At the end of it, she saw a hand reaching out to her, a smiling face with blue eyes. Zack. She took his hand, feeling warmth envelope her as she stepped into the light with him. Her time was done. Xion whimpered, nearly falling as her vision clouded with tears. "Don't let the blade touch you, Roxas." she whispered numbly, leaning heavily against the wall. "It's poisoned." It like she could feel Aerith leave, and she hadn't even gotten to say goodbye...the thought made her knees buckle. She gripped the wall uselessly, trying to hold onto what emotions she could. Tifa appeared, and kept her eyes averted from Aerith's body as she knelt next to Xion, cradling the small girl gently. There would be a time to mourn later. Right now she needed to get Xion out. She had promised she would look after the girl, after all. "Roxas, there's nothing you can do." she murmured, her eyes turning to Cloud, pain evident in their depths.
"Xion, go back to your room." She ordered, trying to stand. She didn't want the girl to see this. Stepping in front of Aerith, she weakly pulled out her staff. "Then fight me for it." Xion shivered, then jumped at the stranger, pulling out her keyblade. "you can't take her!" she cried, dogding by the stake to stab him.
She smiled, going through it, still holding his hand. "I'm glad." OC: Short post is short, I have to go.
She jumped, then sighed. "Sorry, old habits." she murmured, smiling a little as she finished gathering and folding the clothes, then holding them up to him. "It's fine, anyway. I was closer." she looked away as she said it, thinking.
Aerith tried to get up fast, she really did, but her body was still heavy from the healing she had given Xion. She stumbled, holding onto the couch tightly, her green eyes sparkling, but scared. "What do you mean?" she asked, just as Xion's door opened. "Aerith, I heard voices..." Xion stopped, looking at the stranger in fear. The future rushed at her, but she was good enough at reading it to know what it meant. She trembled, trying to keep herself up right. "Go away."
She smiled, brushing a lock of her hair back behind her ear. "Good, because I would be right there beside you." She murmured, taking his hand shyly.
OOC: Same here 8D Sorry we missed it. BIC: Aly jumped, then turned toward the noise, her eyes wide. "Are you alright?" she asked, hearing Rhone voice the same question. His bag was spilled all over the floor, and Jasped was rubbing his forehead. She got up, used to years of service, and started cleaning up the spilled items, keeping her eyes downcast.
Damn there goes my stalking agenda- I mean, you remind me of someone I knew in Ireland.

Aly leaned against a tree in the nearby park, closing her eyes and dozing lightly. She didn't like all the people, all the noise. The park at least, held its peace. She would fall asleep if she wasn't careful. Instead, she listened to the birds, the animals, going about their daily lives. It must be so easy to be them, to be free from human worries. Food, warmth, shelter, babies. Instead, a human had to worry about money, death, and everything else. She sighed again, opening her eyes and staring at the sky. There was no way she would ever be like that, nor could she. Already on her own, on the run, she had to constantly think of the future. Maybe this was her future. She slid to the ground, bringing her knees to her chest. Life hurt too much sometimes.
XD, fun, isn't it?
