Sitting on the roof, Eva let the sun warm her face. She even managed a smile as she looked up into it, her eyes a rare shade of perfect diamond. She closed them, then opened again, having them return to their normal shade. She didn't need someone looking over at her and seeing a girl with sparkling eyes. That was all she needed, more attention. Standing up slowly, she jumped to the next roof, and crouched, listening. No one had heard her, and she smiled. She jumped to the next roof, and so on, heading back for the inn.
You mean a.m? Wow that's a little late for you, don't you think?
She rubbed her face, then went to the edge. And people wondered why she wanted to just disappear. It was so easy, yet they wouldn't accept it. Narrowing her eyes, she gently slid off the building, holding on with her uninjured arm as she reached for the sparkly object just below her.
Xion started a little at the mention of the baby, then looked back up at him and Cloud. "Namine is my friend. You can't hurt her and Tifa. Tifa's going to be my new mom one day." She sounded absolutely certain. "Demyx...." she hesitated, rubbing her arms. "I would be glad to see it, but Tifa and Namine want to leave soon." Tifa sighed, closing her eyes for a second. Behind her lids she could see Marlene, her small face white and frightened, and Denzel, protective, but so small for a child trying to do a man's job. She opened her eyes, feeling on the verge of tears. How could she make them understand? She had something she had to live for. She couldn't risk it all for just one person, even if that person was Cloud. Marlene wouldn't last, and Denzel would, for a bit, but how long until he became the bitter person she feared she saw becoming Cloud?
Hi. I'm okay, how are you?
She was jealous, yes, but I don't think she ever did anything to hinder it. I think she accepted it. She would help if he would just trust her....
But he also hasn't empathized with her pain and stress either. It wasn't easy to leave the other kids at home aaaannd try to bring home another...
Does it? Hm.... I know @_@ I'm not ready.
Yush I am
Xion sat down, tearing off some of her sleeve to make a bandage. "So she didn't want to kill you....but why? If she wants me or you so bad, why not just have it done with?" Her blue eyes considered the ground as she worked.
Xion stepped in front of Namine, her eyes still glowing and distant as she looked up at LCloud. "Stop hurting my family." she said. "They aren't yours to hurt. They aren't anyone's. If you weren't so busy considering your own pain, you'd try and empathize with Tifa." Her eyes widened slightly. "Have you even thought of everyone back home?"
She smiled sweetly, gently spinning the staff. "I'll just hunt them down. I didn't get to be as strong as I am without a reason." She stepped forward and tipped the end of the staff under the guy's chin, tilting his face up. "You'll be fun to play with. The others are too unsure. Too weak." she said, still smiling. "You'll do just fine."
Xion flinched. "But they have lives and families that live here. Maybe they have been told lies about why we are out, escaped." She looked down at the floor, clenching her hands. "Maybe they have no choice."
Aly looked up at him, her eyes searching, piercing. "Are you afraid to break a bone?" she asked, considering the option. She herself wasn't a stranger to pain, but she had figured out soon after she had left home that most people were afraid of it. Sighing, she pushed her hair back from her face. "It's not a bad thing to be."
Slipping into an alleyway, she turned her head, letting her hair cascade down her face and hide it as a guy passed her by. He had a different gait as well, a kind of feline grace that belonged only to the elves, as far as she knew. She gently grabbed onto the wall, and began to find hand holds in the hard clay, climbing up. Someone knew about her, even here. Was there nowhere she could escape from?
She shook her head, smiling a little. "It's forbidden. Just as the races can't be together, we can't learn about other races." she murmured, rubbing her head.
She cringed, then rubbed her head. "Sorry....." she murmured, bending down and picking up the kunai. "Strange how she rarely uses her lightning..." she murmured, thinking. "Do you understand her ability at all?"
Haha, I don't start for another month and week, cept for college. That starts in two :why?:
Xion took Namine's hand, her eyes glowing slightly. "Tifa will take us home." she murmured, her voice distant. "Luxord wants Cloud's heart, Demyx wants Cloud's help...." she shook her head. "I just need to get away. You sure you want to come, Namine?" Tifa kept her eyes away from Cloud. She was done just listening and standing by. He wanted her help, he had to start trusting her again. If he couldn't then they couldn't work together. Even she knew you had to trust your partner inexplicibly. "It's your choice, Namine, Xion. I won't force you."
Aly spoke up. "I still think we should jump." she said, fingering a strand of hair. She knew they wouldnt be stopping soon, but he had to go and say differently.
