Should probably move this to Kingdom Hearts section. I play it, because it's good to go back and see where it started. About two years went by, if I remember correctly, between KH and KHII. I do like the looks better in the second one, Sora is much more developed, but it is fun to go back.
I like them all. Kingdom Hearts was a good story opener. It was cute, the characters were fun and interesting, and it was the kind of content that could capture the attention of different aged audiences. It also had some more mature themes, such a jealousy with a friend, darker intentions towards those friends, and the epic battle between good and evil. Plus the side characters from Final Fantasy gave some nice little hints at those games, and got you interested in their histories. Chain of Memories was good. The battle system was difficult, but it was a challenge, and something different, making the game a lot more fun in the end. This game was a little less fun and goofy, leaning more towards loss and trying to deal with it. Still one of the best games I've played for a while. 358/2 Days was a hard game for me, because of the story line. It deals with finding yourself and became a much darker game for me. I did like it in the end (I played and watched at a friend's) but it was one of the harder games to deal with, because of the emotional issues. Kingdom Hearts II was the best of the best. The game is a little more mature now, dealing with finding yourself, betrayal, and more fear then the game had. Following the character's choices that led them to each other, eventually, was entertaining, and fun, for the most part. The game incorporated the same silly parts the characters had in the first game, but also more mature feelings and emotions, as well as sadness for some of the side characters at things they had lost.
Kingdom Hearts was my first Square Enix game, and I didn't get it till I was fourteen. Didn't even join here till I was fifteen. I think it's a good game, and I still play it over once in a while, just to bring back the memories. I don't think people should judge you based on a game you play, since I've played games meant for ten year olds and found them entertaining. Just tell them Kingdom Hearts is more strategy.
http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?t=92123 I think that should be in the KH Final Mix section instead. Speaking of which, how are you?
It makes sense that we wouldn't know what Marluxa, Zexion, Vexen, and Lexaeus, as well as Larxene, correspond to, because they don't appear in Kingdom Hearts II, except as characters in the journal that were "eliminated". I always thought that the pink dancer girls were related to Namine, and the normal ones were related to Roxas.
Flinching back from the blood spatter, Angel turned away from the body now lying behind her. She dunked her whip in a puddle, cleaning it as she furled it and put it away. Leaning against the wall, she closed her eyes. Last one.....but not for long. Grimacing, she looked up, then smiled sweetly at the guard in front of her. Letting the chain fly, she struck the side of his neck, letting it wrap around his neck and jerking, breakign it. Next contestant.
That's good :3
I like this, it seems to be my kind of thing. The only problem I ran into was understanding some of the metaphors, but then again, I'm not very good at deciphering poetry, so I would say, keep doing what you're doing.
Smack it. It's your *****.
I was......I'm hiding.
OOC: Shiz I forgot about this. BIC: Xion munched on the apple, her blue eyes focused pensively on the counter as she took another bite. It was a good apple, not too sweet, not too sour. The red skin wasn't bruised or anything. She smiled a little, swallowing, then squeezed it, the juice running down her fingers. She sighed, setting it on the rim, brushing her hair out of her eyes with sticky fingers. Tifa slowly lay back down, still clutching her shoulder, letting the tears flow quietly down her cheek. She smiled through her tears, closing her eyes to stop them. Why couldn't she just erase everything, let it all go away?
I didn't mind any of this, except at the point where Tifa is next to the sword. I'm pretty sure in Crisis Core she saw it with Zack, because at one point he was defending her from monsters, if I remember correctly, and then again when she was injured from Sephiroth, though she might not remember that. That's the only issue, I can't wait for the next chapter!
So they know it all? PM me.
No msn either, huh.
I read the books, halfway liked them. I bought a shirt that happens to be Twilight merchandise that looks really good on me with jeans. Bottom line, do I want to go that far? No freaking way. It's first of all, a book where make believe things happen, hence the bookstore putting it under romantic fantasy. Second of all, religions are based off a person, Buddha, Muhammad, Jesus Christ, whichever. What person woudl this be based off of, Edward? The people that religions are based off of, were actual people that were alive at one point. These books are only brought alive by actors, and were never real people. Bottom line. Some people are just so much in denial about their own lives they need something like this to go crazy about and ruin it for the rest of us.
I have multiple favorites, because that's how it goes. Final Fantasy VII-I like Tifa and Aerith, mostly because you actually get to see Aerith, and she has a role in the story line, and Tifa, because she's always been my favorite. They both don't take any bullshit. Final Fantasy VIII- I like Leon and Rai. Rai makes me laugh, because he's just so naive at points, and Leon has always been badass with the gunblade. It's nice to see more of him, especially now that he has a voice. Final Fantasy IX-Vivi. He's cute, and so is his voice, if not a little annoying at times. I love his hat :3 Last but not least, the Gullwings. It annoyed me that they took away the weapons, but it worked without them, I guess. Paine has always been my favorite of those three with her darker humor, while Rikku offsets her with her naivety. Yuna is okay, she middles them out. The only criticism is I want their weapons back, should there be a Kingdom Hearts III.
Square Enix is never really sloppy, they just make some parts where you have to assume. In Kingdom Hearts I, we hear Sora being called down for dinner in the beginning. After that point, we can only assume his parents were returned to the island at the game's end. Since the world is indeed a makeshift one, the real Hayner, Pence and Olette might have parents, but the ones Roxas knows are only data. Since DiZ could make whatever memories he wanted Roxas to have while he was there, Roxas probably didn't have parents. It would have been more complicated if there were two real people in the real Twilight Town that were not parents, only used as data for fake ones. They also would not have really had a place in the story after that. Roxas doesn't remember anything about his life with the Organization until he begins to meet Namine, and things begin to happen. He probably has fake memories of how he grew up there and such. Again, we have to assume he does have fake memories, and that he doesn't recall anything from his organization life, because of his surprise when he meets Axel. If he doesn't indeed have memories, he is probably given some reason as to why that is, and doesn't need to question it. I think it's safe to say he does have a fake past, whatever that is. That's like asking why the characters in Halloween Town always dress up. They live with it because they have always lived with it, and it's their way of life. The data Twilight Town people aren't real, so they won't notice things they aren't meant to notice, like the girl in the window.
I liked Passion, or Sanctuary, the best of the songs with actual words. Of the songs with no words, I liked Roxas' theme a lot, as well as Sunset Horizons and Kairi's theme. The use of flute is very sweet :3 The One Winged Angel version was cute, but I liked Advent Children's version better.
:3 Night....
Don't worry about it. Yes you do, XD
