Chapter 1-The First Day (Continued)

Kaori and Chris let out a sigh of relief. But Alex was still confused. Then he finally understood why they meant.
“I didn’t mean to say it like that. You didn’t even let me finish.” said Alex. “Anyways, that kid, Sora, went on a journey to find his friends or something. He also had to protect this thing with the word “king” in it. But I forgot the name of it. And his weapon was like a giant key.”
Chris just shook his head in the nonsense Alex was speaking. He then got up and went with his other friends. Before Kaori can tell Alex something, a young woman walks up to them.
“Excuse me.” said the woman.
Alex and Kaori look up and they saw a young woman wearing a pink dress, brown boots, and has long brown hair tied up in a ponytail.
“What school is this?” asked the young woman.
“This is Alendale High School.” responded Alex.
“Oh good, I thought I was lost.” said the woman. “Do you know where I can find someone by the name Cid?”
“Um the woodshop teacher?” asked Kaori.
“Yes.” responded the girl.
“Ok, we can take you.” said Alex.
Alex and Kaori got up and took the woman to the woodshop teacher. They got to the class and he was working on something.
“Um Mr. Highwind.” said Alex.
“Yeah.” responded their teacher.
“Someone is here to see you.” said Kaori.
Their teacher turned around and smiled.
“It’s about time.” he said. “Thank you kids.”
“Your welcome.” responded Kaori smiling.
Alex and Kaori went back outside. Then the girl and Cid began to talk.
“Do you think he could be the next one?” asked the girl.
“I think so. If he is then we have to keep a close eye on him.” said Cid looking out the window at Alex.
