Garxena relaxed in his arms. "It's okay. We're all still he-" she stopped short. Xeal.... Riku let his gaurd drop. "Finally: someone we can trust. Eveything's been kinda crazy here." He tried to change the subject. He knew who Garxena was thinking about.
"Yeifou!" Garxena rushed up to give him a warm embrace. But she quickly let go. "You are the real Yeifou?" she gave him a look. She wanted to trust him, but with everything going on, she could't be too careful. Riku eyed Yeifou. "Garxena please be careful." He tapped his wrist, indicating her burn. "Oh relax will you?" She looked back at Yeifou.
"Riku, I know Telren is coming soon but... I wanna see Xeal. Do you think you could make me fade?" Garxena locked eyes with him. "Garxena I don't think that's the smartest thing to do. We need you here, and what if he lied? What if he's coming sooner?" Riku got up and held her hand in his. "Plus you've got this burn..." "It's fine." Garxena didnt' want any more pity. Yeah, the burn hurt, but it wasn't like it would kill her. "Please Riku?" she implored. "I'm sorry Garxena, but I just think that you should stay with us for now." Riku scooted the desk chair to the edge of the bed so he could sit down. He still held Garxena's hand. "You agree right?" "Fine." She pouted slightly. "Isn't there anyone else here?"
Garxena barley heard Kairi's words. Three days... we'll be ready. Once again, Xeal was in Garxena's dream. They were hugging tightly and he was telling her not to let go. Not to listen to her brother. Not to worry. The dream seemed so real that when Garxena woke, she looked around her room expecting to find him. "What's wrong, Garxena?" Riku asked, concerned as he came back in her room. "I-" She sighed. "Nothing. I'm okay." But Garxena was plunged back into her fear that she would never see Xeal again.
Riku went outside and sat next to the door with his back agaisnt the wall. Just a little longer and Kairi and I will be back home. I can't wait to get on that raft and finally set out on our next journey.
Riku stood up. "I'm gonna go look at the sky." He told Kairi so she would worry. "You take care of Garxena."
"Fine..." Garxena flipped to lie on her back and closed her eyes. This burn in never gonna stop hurting til I get within 100 feet of my brother. I'll just have to learn to ignore it. Slowly, Garxena drifted to sleep.
Riku smiled. "It wasn't too hard. Kinda easy." He saw Garxena. "Is she okay?" Worry filled his voice. "I...alright..." Garxena walked over to her bed and fell onto it. "Just...went too... far..." She took deep breaths and tried to relax. "What about... the others...?" The burn had not stopped hurting since she hit Dexeon, but she was ignoring the pain and focusing on her friends.
Garxena lurched forward and landed her fists (with the Dark energy) straight in Dexeon's back. The blow sent him through his portal. She stood gasping. "Maybe that was too much..." She fell forward on the cold roof's surface. Riku's Keyblade disappeared. "That wasn't so bad." He checked himself for injuries; there were none. "Hope the girls are okay."
"Kairi," Garxena's breaths were ragged. "I can't keep it here for much longer. Let's finish this quickly..." Dark energy surrounded her hands. Though it'd be nice to have my Oblivionblade.
Garxena closed her eyes. Falcon Spirit... come to my aid. There was a high screach and a giant blue falcon appeared, flying towards Garxena. No one can harm my Falcon. Not even Telren.
Garxena fell to her knees. I've got to get out of here.... she opened a portal, then remembered what Dexeon had said. "That new burn mark will only allow you to go 100 feet from me." She cursed. Cradeling her hand, she tried to stand. "Great!" Riku said sarcastically. "This will be fun..." He sliced through Heartless one by one.
Garxena forced a smile. "Yeah, and I thought it was too bitter." She landed a kick in his gut. Why the **** won't my Oblivonblade come?!
"That's just wrong!" Riku sighed and lifted the two Keyblades above his head. Then he charged at Dexeon, bringing the Keyblades down hard on his shoulder. The one on Dexeon's right shoulder wouldn't come free, but the left shoulder didn't break through the armor. Riku yanked on the right Keyblade and it was loosened.
Garxena yelled in pain. The burn felt as though she had put her hand in lava. "Brother please! Don't hurt them!" She begged as Yeifou took her away. Riku slashed Dexeon's arms when he was distracted by Garxena's plea. Two Keyblades are better than one! He slid behind Dexeon and made an X with the Keyblades on Dexeon's back.
Garxena didn't want Kairi getting hurt. "Just do what he says." she told her friend. Riku caught the second Keyblade. "Alright." He fixed his stance, ready to take on Dexeon again.
"Thanks." Garxena looked at her empty hand. Where's my Oblivionblade? Riku's Keyblade clashed with Dexeon's Fireblade. "It would be alot easier if you just left us alone!"
"I can tell you're not the real Yeifou!" Garxena tried to call her Oblivionblade.
Garxena struggled against Yeifou's grip. "Let go!" Riku ducked away from Dexeon's Fireblade. "Getting me won't be that easy."
"Kairi," Riku said cautiously. "Garxena needs to stay here. It's fine." Riku winked.
