Garxena wiped the tears from her eyes. "Alright..." That must be how Riku stays so strong. I don't see how anyone could beat him. Riku walked the stairs back to Garxena's room. "They must be done by now." He knocked on the door and opened it a crack. "You okay?" He asked Garxena. "I'm fine. It's a great relief to talk to someone about that." She tried a smile. She couldn't talk to me? Riku went to Garxena's side. "So you're done with your talk?" He asked Kairi.
"Kairi, how am I supposed to fight him if I chained by fear?!" Garxena shook her head. "I just can't do it.... Riku did it... Riku wasn't afraid of Dexeon..." OOC: that's funny! rotfl
"You don't understand Kairi... I'm actually," Garxena didn't want to admit it. "I'm afraid of him...."
"But I can't beat him anymore! He has too much control over me! Why am I so weak?" Garxena tried to stop crying.
"When I was little, like nine years old....or was it my Somebody?.... well anyways, I came home one night from training to fight the Heartless and when I walked in the door, I found my little brother's body on the floor. He was dead. I freaked out of course and went to my parents room. They were on their bed, and when I went to the bedside, I saw they were dead too. Killed nastily. I ran to my older sister's room, in hopes of finding her alive. She wasn't there. I went to the back yard and found her by the flower garden. She was dead as well." Garxena took a deep breath and held back tears. "When I went to Dexeon's room, he was standing in the middle of it. And the first thing I noticed was his Fireblade. I didn't know what it was or where he got it." Garxena rubbed her eyes. "I asked him what had happened and he said, 'None of that needs to be explained right now.' And then he stared at me. His eyes were cold and I was frightened. I ran out of the house to the ocean. He came up beside me and before I knew it, his blade was in my heart. But I didn't want to die. I was filled with rage and saddness and yet, I stilll loved him. He was my brother.... The next thing I remember I was standing on the beach facing him and holding my chest. I had my Darkblade in my hand. But I felt so weird. I couldn't feel to be more exact. I.... lost my heart...." Garxena started crying. "I haven't told anyone about that....." She sobbed. "And later, after a few days. I didn't want anyone to go through my family's belongings so I burned the house. Dexeon has used that against me so many times. I didn't think it was wrong. And I've been training ever since then to avenge my family. The next time I met up with Dexeon, my training proved to pay off and I beat him in a fair fight. Now he thinks I'm the better fighter when he can take me down easily. I just don't want to give up. I want to understand why he killed them and I want him to feel the pain they felt!" Garxena broke down in tears.
"Kairi, I think you need to know more about me." Garxena said with her eyes downcast. "It's notining I'm proud of." Riku went and sat on a couch. "Wonder what they're talking about."
Garxena cleared her throat. "Kairi, we need to talk." "Uh oh. Girl talk." I'm going down to the lobby. Get me when you need me." Riku waved and left the room. Heading down the stairs. OOC: have to go. see u tomorrow
"I feel bad... does Silax hate me now?" Garxena stood up and paced. Riku caught her hand. "He can't hate you. I don't see how anyone can." Garxena blushed. Is he doing what I think he is?
"Yes I'm fine.... physically. I have no idea what's going on up here." She tapped her head. Riku laughed. "Up there is confused isn't it?" "Very..." Garxena intertwined her fingers.
Riku started at Kairi's sudden appearence. "Stop scaring me like that." He managed a smile. "Oh Kairi. Yeah, I think I'm okay." Garxena watched Silax leave. She sighed. "I didn't want to hurt him..."
Garxena sat next to Riku on her bed. "Thank you, Silax." She said ernestly. Riku let his Keyblade go and his muscles untensed. She knows, she knows! Leave already. Riku was impatient, but kept a straight face. OOC: sorry it took me awhile. i was talking to my dad on the phone. he's in utah
"I-" Garxena wanted to hit herself for being so stupid. He thinks I don't love him anymore. "Silax... you're still important to me. I just promised myself something a long time ago..." she remembered the night of coming home and finding her other siblings and her parents dead with her brother standing over them. "I don't want to break that promise..." A quizical look came across Riku's face. What promise? What don't I know?
Garxena turned around and saw Silax. She also caught site of Riku's body language. I understand. "I'm fine." She said, a little pouty. Riku went in and closed Garxena's window. "Don't you get cold?" He tried to keep the conversation light. "I like it cold." She stuck out her tounge playfully and laughed. Riku was tempted to pick her up and toss her on her bed, but he didn't want to get Silax angry. Until I can sort out her feelings, I'll leave her to Silax.
"Emotionally, yeah, I think she's hurt." Riku forced himself to not sound like he hated Silax. "This way." He led Silax up the three flights of stairs to Garxena's room. He went to the third door on the left and knocked. "Garxena? It's me, Riku." "Come on in." Garxena called, still leaning out her window. Oops. Was I supposed to lock the door? Oh well... Riku opened the door and let Silax go in first. His hand was still on his Keyblade.
I still don't like him... He was made by Telren and that's got to mean he's still somewhat Dark. I'll watch out for Garxena. Riku attached his Keyblade to his belt, keeping his hand on the hilt. "Want to go see her?" He asked reluctantly. Garxena watched the clouds go by, enjoying the breeze from leaning out her window. "I wonder what that surprise was that Riku was talking about. He hasn't told me yet. And he said Kairi would love it." Garxena sighed and went back to watching the clouds.
"Why didn't I think of that?" Riku shrugged. "Feel okay?" He asked Silax. Garxena stood up and went to her window. She opened it and leaned out. "I never realized how high three stories can seem..." The wind played with her hair. Garxena shook her head and looked out across the blue sky. "Too bad you can't see this Dexeon. It's a shame you chose what you did..." She shifted her weight to her arms on the widowsill. "Come on, Riku... let me know he's okay...."
Riku kept his Keyblade out. "Someone strong enough has to remove it. Not necessarly absorb it, just get it out...." Riku though about it. "I want to see what's happening..." Garxena swung her feet back and forth off the edge of her bed. "Riku...."
"She didn't lie to you!" Riku swung his Keyblade. "The Darkness has clouded your mind. Let it go!" Riku didn't want to hurt Silax; he knew Garxena cared for him. "If Silax has given in to the Darkness then why should I love him? How can I love him? First Xeal and now him..." Garxena ran her fingers through her hair. "What am I saying? The Darkness overtook me too. I hated but it still happened. Maybe Silax is fighting it... maybe."
Garxena backed up and grasped Riku's hand for support. "Riku..." Garxena said with a wavering voice. Riku gripped her hand. "Get to your room and lock the door. We'll take care of him." He let go of her hand and his Keyblade appeared. "Silax, get ahold of yourself." Garxena nodded. She portaled to her room. Riku has feelings for me? But he never showed anything... "Silax.... that's it!" She yelled, frustrated. "Anyone who sides with Darkness will face my Oblivionblade!" She slumped onto her bed. "But Riku wants me to stay here for now, so I will." She folded her arms over her chest.
Garxena thought she understood. "Where you spying on us?!" She said, offended that they would do that. Riku put his hands in his pockets, trying to stay calm. "Garxena relax. Okay guys. I may like Garxena, but I know she loves Silax. So if you were spying, you misinterpreted what you saw."
