"How many of these things are there?!" Garxena asked as she swiped at a group of neoshadows.
"Fine." Riku got rid of a few neoshadows with a single stroke of his Keyblade. Garxena hit a neoshadow on its head with the hilt of her Oblivionblade. I hate these things.
"Should we help him?'' Riku asked Garxena, sceptically. Garxena sighed. "Well...." She took out her Oblivionblade. "Hey Frostex! Looks like you could use a hand!" She sliced through a neoshadow. "If you want." Oh jeez. Riku waited for Frostex's answer.
"What was that?" Riku's attention was caught by a noise outside. "I don't know. Let's go see!" Garxena headed for the door. "Wait!" Riku hurried to catch up with her. "Come on Kairi." He smiled as he walked.
"Riku!" Garxena ran up and jumped on his back. "Garxena?!" Riku put his arms around her legs and spun with her on his back. "Where were you two?" He asked them as he put Garxena on her feet. "Just walking around. Why? Were you worried about us?" She winked at Kairi. "Where's Yeifou and Jordxy and everyone else?" Garxena scanned the lobby.
Garxena laughed. "Riku's easy to scare if you know how. Sure, let's go back. And just because I'm feeling lazy..." Garxena opened a portal. "See? Useful." And she went through.
"But portaling is useful. And it's fun to scare people." Garxena laughed. "As long as I don't scare them too bad."
"I'm glad I'll be missed. But I'll come visit you. And Riku of course!" Garxena smiled. "And you can always come visit us."
"Like who?" Garxena asked playfully.
"Sure." Garxena stood up and put her hand in her pockets. "What about you? Don't you miss anyone back at Destiny Islands?"
"Yeah..." Garxena moved her foot around in the dirt, making a circle. "I guess I just need to get over it."
"Looking at that picture of Kai reminded me how much I miss her. I know that I also had a mom and a dad and a younger brother, but I miss Kai most. And I want to see her again. But she's..." Garxena sighed. I'm not crying over this. Not again... "No. When Garxena and I met, it was after Dexeon killed their family. But I assume that Kai and Garxena were close." Riku folded his arms and put one foot on the wall.
"Um, Kairi, do you think we could talk?" Garxena sat on a rock. "I've had Kai on my mind lately..." "So..." Riku leaned against the wall. "Garxena seems kind of off. Did I miss something?"
Garxena went to Kairi's side. "I'll come." Garxena looked back at Riku. "You can stay here." She winked. Riku sighed.
"You're back." Riku greeted Yeifou and Garxena as they came through the portal. "You said you'd stay here." He went by Garxena's side. "Well I went with Yeifou to Ansem's study to do some quick research. But we didn't find anything." Garxena nudged Riku. "I'm fine. It's not like we were gonna get ambushed in Ansem's study." Garxena laughed. "Yeah." Riku rolled his eyes. Her ignorance makes her cute.
"Alright." We've tried Light against Telren before and it didn't do much.... How much Darkness does he have? Garxena thought as she went through the portal.
"Nothing we didn't already know." Garxena closed the book. "And nothing we haven't already tried. When we beat Telren I am coming back here and editing these books." She laughed. "We could do that again. After all, Riku and Kairi are with us. They've fought plenty of Heartless before. And even if we don't beat him the next time we fight him, we might find his weak point." Garxena pointed out.
Garxena smiled. He sure knows how to make something fun. She went back to reading. "This is due to overexposure to Darkness." No kidding. Garxena suppressed a giggle. "Light is the best way to extinguish the Darkness and then the Heartless can be fought easily." Oh sure, like we haven't tried that already Garxena turned to another section of the book.
"Mm hmm...." Garxena was reading. "Heartless are often easy to kill. They usually only take on hit." Oh sure. Telren's a special case then... "However, some Heartless can be difficult. They can even get to the point where you must not engage with them if you're alone." That sounds more like Telren. "This is due to..."
Garxena pulled a book off the shelf. It's big. And the title says it all: 'Heartless and Nobodies' She flipped through the pages. "Light and Heartless..." Garxena murmured the title of the chapter. "Hmm." She sat on a chair and started reading.
