"Let's see my world..." Garxena flipped to a page near the end of the book. "It's hand written recently..." "Over the past years, we've experience several murders and some burnings....." Garxena skimmed the pages. "We have found a great protector. She is the only one who is known to survive a family murder. At the age of 18, Kai has been...." Garxena dropped the book. "Impossible...."
Garxena raised her eyes from the locket. "Stronger? As in gaining the lackey known as my brother? I hardly call that strength." Which is a total lie. She closed the locket and stood up. "I'm going to the library." She portaled away. "At least I can find peace in books." She went and picked up a book titled 'Great World Protectors'.
Of course he does. Garxena crossed her legs and opened the locket to look at Kai.
"We know what will come when we fight Telren." Garxena said, a little angry. And that's why I told Riku to go home...
Garxena didn't say anything. She fiddled with the locket. Kai would say it was the right thing. And I know Riku is safe.....
Garxena portaled back to her room. She went to her trunk, took out the Heartless heart shaped locket, and fastened it around her neck. The metal was cool on her skin. "I will not give up in the next battle. I will fight to the end like I'm sure Kai did." She went back down to the lobby. She sat on a chair and looked at her feet.
"I'm going to the roof." Garxena portaled. "It's for the best. He would've gotten seriously hurt if he stayed..." She sat in the middle of the roof and looked at the sky. "Is it the same where you are Riku?"
Garxena could picture what was going on on the other side of that portal. Riku's telling Sora to wake up and their gonna work on that surprise for Kairi. And Sora's saying he wasn't sleeping he was just resting. Riku bumps Sora on the head and they get to work. Garxena wiped her eyes.
"Riku.... I've been thinking and..." Garxena held his hands. "What is it?" He asked worried. "I think you should go back to Destiny Islands." Garxena saw the look on his face. "I just want you safe! Will you go? For me?" She asked with pleading eyes. Riku sighed. "Alright. But you promise you won't get hurt while I'm gone? And Kairi will come back soon?" "That's her choice." Garxena smiled and opened a portal. She bit her lip. Don't cry.... Riku bent down and kissed Garxena. "Stay safe." He waved to Kairi and went through the portal.
Nova and Kairi..... sounds okay.... Riku watched the two. "I can take care of myself." Garxena folded her arms over her chest. Sometimes...
Garxena opened a portal. "See you guys there." She and Riku went through holding hands. I can hear you Silax. And I guess I am. I don't know. "Everything okay?" Riku asked as they came out of the portal. "Yes yes. Why does everyone worry about me?" Garxena plopped on a chair.
Garxena leaned on Riku, not looking at Silax. "Where'd they come from?" She asked no one in particular. Riku put his arm around Garxena. "Telren probably..."
"Pathetic.." Riku remarked as he watched Frostex leave. He went back to Garxena. Garxena rested her hands on her knees. "Thanks..." she muttered to Silax.
Garxena got hit in the stomach. She winced. Shake it off. It's nothing. Her Twilight energy receded. "Just fine." She assured Kairi. Garxena took out a few more with her Oblivionblade. Lier. Riku hit a neoshadow in the gut. And he helped get a few off of Frostex.
Garxena panted as she enclosed another group in Twilight energy. I can't keep this up much longer.
It may be Nova but at least it's some help. Riku took out a group with another Dark Aura. I really wish he'd use some Light instead of that Dark Aura all the time.... Garxena thought as she clashed with a neoshadow. These are stronger than they look!
"Any way we can get rid of these?" Riku sliced through a small group. "No idea." Garxena hit a few with her Oblivionblade.
Garxena enclosed a few more with her Twilight energy and did the same. Riku hit a group with Dark Aura. "These things are endless!"
"Why are they even here?" Riku asked Frostex as he hit a few. "What does it matter? Let's just get them out of here." Garxena wrapped Twilight energy around a few and pressurized them until there was nothing left.
Garxena wiped away sweat. It's hot out here! Just keep going. She told herself. Garxena's Oblivionblade made contact with a neoshadow trying to attack Riku from behind. Riku turned around. "Thanks." He and Garxena were back to back with their blades in defensive positions. Where'd they all come from?
