Riku clenched his fists. "We're not going to loose her now." What does he want with her?! Kai nodded. "If he dares hurt my little sister...." She sheathed her Doublesword and cracked her knuckles. "Let's go." Her voice was steel itself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Garxena blinked her eyes open. I'm moving? My head's killing me.... what'd I do?
Riku put his hands on his knees. "That wasn't so bad..." Kai nodded. "I've had much worse. And I was doing it alone then too." She smiled at Riku. "It was a nice warm up." She playfully punched his arm. Riku straightened. "Warm up?" He laughed. "We should've let you take it down by yourself." "I will next time then." she and Riku went to Kairi. "You alright?" kai asked concerned.
Garxena let her Oblivoinblade disappear. The Sand energy fell to the floor. Garxena looked at where her brother had been. The flames are gone... She noticed. "I did it.........He's gone..........." she passed out and fell to the floor, and she was smiling. Riku sent a blast of Dark Aura at it. Come on! Kai jumped on the behemoth's neck and drove both her swords into its head. Get down!!
Garxena cried out. She grit her teeth. Not here. Not in front of everyone! More! She held her arm, and her hand passed over the T. To prove I'm strong! She ran forward and drove her Oblivionblade through Dexeon's stomach. That's not it! More!! Sand energy wrapped around Dexeon throat and torso. "I think that'll work. We just have to hit it with everything we got." Riku agreed. Kai nodded. "It's similar to something I've fought before."
"This!" Garxena sent two Twilight darts that hit Dexeon in the chest. I can't use many more of those..... my arm muscles can't take it. I should've healed myself more. She held back, waiting for Dexeon. Riku stood back. "We gotta hit it harder......" He thought aloud. Kai jumped up and spun, hitting the behemoth in the face and making an X with her Doublesword. "Don't know about hard, but that had to hurt."
Garxena glanced at Kairi and instantly regretted it. A fireball hit her in the gut. She held her stomach but kept eye contact with Dexeon. "That's it.....?" she straightened, taking a fighting stance. "I said not to go easy!" Garxena formed Twilight darts. Ow! Frick.... my muscles... Riku sent a Dark Aura at the behemoth. I can tell this won't be easy.
Kai went back to Garxena and the others. "What the-?!" She quickly unsheathed her Doublesword and split it in two. "I'm guessing we take this thing out?" Riku stared at the behemoth. "That's not a Heartless....." He positioned his Keyblade in front of himself. "But we'll get rid of it anyway!" Garxena summomed her Oblivionblade. "Fine. But no mercy and no stopping!" She ran forward and felt a pain in her abdomen. Ignore it! She hit Dexeon on the shoulder.
"Fine you win the challange. I'm staying here with Garxena." Riku kept his eyes on Silax. Garxena noticed her brother. "Oh crap......... Dexeon go away!" Garxena bolted off her bed.
Garxena bit her lip. This is going to far.... "Silax stop!" She held her locket. "What are you doing?!" Riku went to Garxena's side, watching Silax carefully.
Kai stood up. "What the heck was that for?" She rubbed her back. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "He says it's his 'destiny'." Garxena rolled her eyes. "I hate the idea of destiny. We all have control over what we do. And I'll beat it into him if I have to." Dexeon's voiced echoed in her head: "Trust me sister, we were destined to become one with the Darkness. There's no changing destiny. You'll join me.... sooner or later...." "That's a nice trick." Riku hit a neoshadow heading for Garxena's bed. "But I've got 24 now."
My room... I mean Kai's and mine room is getting crowded. Garxena pulled her knees to her chest on her bed. And these neoshadows are giving me the creeps... Riku took out ten of the neoshadows with a Dark Aura. "Twenty-three!"
Garxena watched Kyo and Riku. They're great. She smiled to herself. I'm asking Kyo to train me when this is over. Riku slashed five more neoshadows. "Twelve!" He hit another. "Thirteen!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kai laughed. "I'm staying here. It's quiet and it's big enough for the two of us."
Riku swung his Keyblade and sliced five of the neoshadows. "That's seven!" Garxena giggled. "Hm?" She looked over at Kotone and Silax. "Kotone come here!" she tried not to sound urgent, but friendly instead.
"Maybe," Riku smiled. "Let's see who can get rid of the most neoshadows." He hit another one. They're gonna count while fighting. Garxena smothered a laugh. How cute!
Garxena nodded and smiled a little. I have to recoup fast. I can't stand being on the sidelines during a fight. Riku looked at Kyo. "Let's see what you got." He sliced a neoshadow near Garxena.
"You're kidding right?" Garxena said, unsure if she could fight. Riku put a hand on her shoulder. "You don't have to fight." He summoned his Keyblade. "I'll fight for you."
Garxena folded her arms over her chest. So says you. Anyone can change their destiny. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kai stayed in her chair. "Dexeon, you are just plain stupid." Kai smirked. "You may be older than me, but you know I'm the best fighter."
"You're helping him?" Garxena sat on her bed. I don't understand.... Riku shook his head. Then I guess we have to fight him too. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kai walked in the library and found Dexeon. "So you stayed here? What for?" she sat next to him. "You know, Garxena's okay. She pulled through. But I'm curious: why?"
"Well........." Garxena thought about it. "Yeah..... Yeah I'm glad I'm back." Though I do want to be with my family, here's where I belong. Riku gave Garxena a hug. "We're glad you're back with us."
