OOC: princess_of_hearts had to go. she IMed me. BIC: Garxena's eyes flickered open. "Kyo....?" she looked around, seeing her sister, Kairi, and noticing being held by Riku. Tears filled her eyes and she clutched Kyo's keyblade. Kai and Riku helped Garxena stand. "He died a death worthy of his rank." Kai tried to sooth her sister. Garxena pushed away from them and ran off. "Let her go, Kai." Riku put a hand on her shoulder. "She needs time alone."
Kai touched the blood in Garxena's hair. "It's fresh.... Riku, what happened?" "Garxena and Kyo fought against soldiers. I assume that Kyo protected Garxena. He payed his life for it." Riku explained sadly.
Hiro squeaked. He flew over to Riku. "You come play?" Riku looked at Hiro quizzically. "Sorry, little guy. I'm looking for Kai right now." He adjusted Garxena's weight. "Me know where Kai is!" Hiro flipped in a circle. We go find Kai!" He flew outside. "A Moogle is just about the most random thing to find here." Riku followed Hiro, trying to keep Garxena comfortable. Riku and Hiro came upon Kai and Mika. He tried to get rid of Kyo's blood in Garxena's hair and on her face. "Seems something happened that we don't know about." He tried to keep his voice sounding as casual as possible. "Riku!" Kai stood and touched Garxena's face. "Is she alright?" Riku nodded. "But... Kyo didn't survive the battle."
"Kyo....?" Garxena buried her face in her hands. He's gone.... just like Xeal, he's gone.... She turned her face towards the sky and screamed. Not an angry scream, but one filled with rage and hopelessness. Her head fogged and she looked at Riku. "Riku...." she shakily opened a portal, holding Kyo's keyblade to her chest. Riku knelt beside her and lifter her up. "No more from you. I'll try to find your sister." He looked down at Garxena and saw her eyes were closed. He wiped some mud off her cheek. Best go before it closes. Riku stepped through the portal, Garxena in his arms, after giving one last glace at Kyo. Thanks. OOC: brb
Garxena took the keyblade with shaking hands. "I won't let you down, Kyo. I swear." "I'm alright." Kai said aloud to Silax. "It's nothing to worry about." Kai rubbed her arm. Good thing he didn't do too much damage. Now I know the reason he's always holding back.
"I am nothing like Riku. How much do you know?" Kai refused to take the bait.
"I forgive your actions. They were not truly yours." Kai felt an intrusion in her mind. He just won't quit. She let Takeshi in. "Just let me be. You got what you wanted, didn't you?
Garxena gently and slowly pulled away. Kyo's blood on her face and in her hair. She looked him in the eyes. "Kyo, I... I don't understand."
"Did you... hear any of that?" Kai asked warily. "He has a way with words. His voice can be so smooth... tempting even..." she admitted. "I'm a fool. I shouldn't be swayed by him." Hiro squeaked. "Me no like being alone...." He slowly flew in circles.
Kai opened her eyes. "That wasn't so bad..... I thought he'd kill me." She smiled weakly. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Garxena tried to stop the tears. "What reason could I have? All I do is hurt people...."
Kai glared at Takeshi, ignoring the scythe. "I know something thanks to our bond too, Takeshi. But since I'm not evil, I won't say it aloud." Kai closed her eyes. "You love me, don't you?"
Kai held her head. "No! Get out of my mind!" She dropped her swords.
"Your words are poison." Kai shook her head. She moved behind Takeshi and cut his sides with each sword. Just gotta keep my mind closed. He can't get in if I don't let him.
"You're wrong!" Kai dodged the swing and slammed one of her swords into Takeshi's stomach and the other his legs, sending him backwards. "I came her to find my sister so that I could be with her! Dexeon killed out family! I tried to protect everyone... I couldn't..." She held up her swords.
Kai shivered. "The only thing you could make me is pissed off." She pushed away with her swords. Thanks Silax. she hoped he could hear that. OOC: diner. brb :)
D***. He can still infiltrate my mind. Kai prepared her swords for any moves that Takeshi might try.
Kai unsheathed her Doublesword, stepping away from Silax. "His name is Takeshi. I fought him two years ago in Traverse Town. Our fight continues now." She stepped towards Takeshi. I've had worse wounds than this. There's no reason for me to hold back.
"Seems I missed a lot." Kai let the Light fade away as she sheathed her swords. "Everyone okay?" She touched her back to make sure the wound hadn't bled more.
Kai moved behind Telren with great speed, her swords against his back. "Remember me? Looks like Kade got you pretty good. And I thought you'd be tougher."
Ai came across Caxen. I don't need anymore ties. Zen is dangerous enough. He's actually making me feel.
