Garxena looked up. "Kotone? She's back? Why is she mad?" Hiro flew over and sat on Katara's stomach. He yawned and went to sleep. Kai woke abruptly. She rubbed her head. "Hiro.... I thought you were gonna wake me-" she saw him sleeping. "Oh. I can't be mad at something so cute." She stood up, looking around. "Where'd everyone go? Garxena?"

"You're.... you're still with us, right? You haven't.... chosen the Darkness....?" Garxena took his hand.
Garxena hesitated. "Silax... Frostex was wrong. I haven't chosen the Darkness." She closed the locket.
"Momo funny. Momo. Me like name." Hiro repeated Momo's name, flying in circles. Garxena opened the locket. A picture of Silax formed in the slot on the opposite side of Kai's picture. Garxena bit her lip. I have not chosen the Darkness. I've chosen Silax.
"Frostex, I-" Garxena shook her head. "Forget it...." Hiro chased Momo playfully.
Garxena looked down. "Frostex, he's fine." she lied. "If there's nothing else you need, would you mind leaving?" she looked up at Silax. "I'd stay with you."
"Frostex? Is there something you need?" Garxena asked.
His eyes..... I hope he's alright... Garxena wrapped her fingers through Silax's. I won't leave him.
"I do." Garxena said earnestly. "But you've got me worried. Are you okay?"
"You're not the same...." Garxena blinked back tears. She held his hand with both of hers. "Silax, what's happened?" OOC: diner brb
Garxena took a step back. "Silax.... you don't mean that.... What's happened to you? I thought you'd changed.... The Darkness holds nothing." She said disbelievingly.
Kai sighed. She shut her eyes. Rubbing Hiro's wing before going to sleep. "Okey dokey, Kai." Hiro smiled. Me know what she wants. Garxena lowered her eyes. "What are we going to do? Takeshi has power, but he doesn't use it. He flees before risking his life."
"If Mika's right, then I've got a pretty good idea where he is." Garxena let Momo go. She portaled to Telren's base. "Silax..." she put feeling in to his name; apology, cautiousness, worry. She went to his side, meeting his eyes. Kai's eyes flickered open. "Is Garxena okay...?" she asked horsely.
Garxena pat Momo's head. "Silax.... I feel awful.... He did it for me. Because I can't protect myself...." Hiro made a small noise. "Kai no feel good...?"
Hiro zipped over. "Yay! Come to play?" he flew over and sat on Kai. Kai winced. "Hiro... get the bag..." "Okey dokey." he flew away and came back with a small, light brown bag. He placed it in Kai's hand. "Now what?" he smiled. Kai look different...hmmm. Kai turned her head to Katara. "Lots..." she looked back at Hiro. Hiro squeaked, understand even though Kai said nothing. He took a small leaf out of the bag, wrapped it around a gel-like substance, and put it in Kai's mouth. "Now we play?" Kai let it dissolve in her mouth. "Later..." she went to sleep. Garxena bit her lip. "He's done something...." she said softly. "Is everyone okay?"
"Hiro..." Kai said weakly. "Hiro's got.... a bag... with..." she coughed. This is hard... Garxena glanced at Silax. There's a change in him.... She looked for Takeshi. He ran again. Great....
Kai's eyes closed. I'm not going here... not like this.... Her breathing changed to shallow, short breaths. It's hard, but I can keep alive for a short while longer... Garxena, you can do it... Garxena knelt by Kai, placing her head on Kai's chest. Irregular heartbeat... not Kai.... Garxena felt power in her. "...Wrapped in all of the promises That no one seems to keep She no longer cries to herself No tears left to wash away... Feelings gone a stray But she will sing Til everything burns While everyone screams Burning their lies Burning my dreams All of this hate And all of this pain I'll burn it all down As my anger reigns Til everything burns..." I sung?! I can talk again! She stood, facing Takeshi.
Kai shook. I can't keep this up.... Garxena.... She rose to her feet, falling back down immediately. I can't support my own weight.... I can barely move... She wiped blood from her mouth. D***.... my body's failing me... She managed to look up at Takeshi. "Let her go.... Takeshi.... please, just let her go..." Garxena closed her eyes. Why should I bother trying....? I can't do it.... I thought I could do something.... Silax...
