"Garxena!" Kai ran over to Kotone and her sister. "What happened? Is she okay?" She brushed a bit of hair out of Garxena's face.
Kai stood up and followed Sora. "Zen, is everyone okay?"
What a relief.... Garxena closed her eyes. Silax...
"Kotone..." Garxena winced but tried to talk. "Where's... Silax....?"
"Silax!" Garxena put a hand on her stomach. It hurts to speak...
Garxena slowly opened her eyes. "Kotone...?" She winced.
I can't breathe... Garxena felt dizzy. Crap... She passed out.
"I...don't..." Garxena opened her eyes. "I'm not...done." She forced herself to her feet.
Garxena faintly heard Xeal. "Not... now..." Her eyes closed. My body's going numb.... She went limp as the energy pressure increased.
Garxena screamed as the Light and Darkness crushed her. This is what I do with my Sand energy... She tried to stay awake.
Garxena tried to stand again. She cried out when the barrier struck her again. I'm not giving up.... this pain will only stay for a while.... I've just got to ignore it... Her eyes started to close. No! I've got to stay conscious...
Garxena tried to stand, getting hit in the back by the barrier. D***..... if I keep this up...
"Come on. Put down this barrier and I'll take you on!" Garxena winced.
"By who, you?" Garxena tried to keep her words tough. "If this is what you can do, then I say bring it on."
Garxena didn't look at Hideo. "I'll get out.... and when I do... you're in for it..." She tried to steady her breathing. That was stupid.... I'll probably end up being rescued....
He's so pissing me off. Garxena threw everything she had left into her punch. It came back at her double strength. She screamed, falling to her knees. I'm at my limit....
''I get that a lot...." Garxena stopped moving. She was breathing heavily. "Why don't be like all the other bad guys and blurt out your plan while I figure this out?"
"No!" Garxena felt herself slackening. Not yet! There has to be a weak spot in this thing.... but it seems it throws back my attacks twice as hard... She hit the barrier again.
