Kai listened to the list. Have I really been to those places? "I think Telren's base would be best. She's been there the most." Garxena said. Jeez, they're talking like I'm not here. Kai sighed. "Okay, then we'll go to Telren's base." Whoever that is.
"Yeah, maybe seeing the places would help." Garxena agreed. I'm not sure if I even fully believe this... Kai turned around. "Fine. Take me somewhere."
Satoshi made hand signs. "Wind Release: Wind Scissor Jutsu!" A blast of wind blew at Sasuke.
"I hope so." Garxena nodded. "Yeah, we can talk later." If what they're saying is true, then I've missed a lot. Kai looked out a window. But what if they don't come back? I guess I can deal with it. I don't know them, so not knowing them later might not matter. Or... ow... my head...
Satoshi dodged a kunai and threw shurikens at Sasuke.
Garxena looked at Silax. "Not too well. I'm not sure what else to do." Kai looked at Silax. I think I can trust him the most.
Sai sent more ink beast after Kakuzu.
Satoshi looked where the kunai had come from. "He must in that direction."
Megumi broke the case and gently lifted the scroll. She could hear the police banging on the barrier. "They're dumb." So are you. Dai thought. "I heard that." Megumi let down the barrier, waved at the police, and flew out another window.
Satoshi put a hand on Naruto's shoulder. "It's okay. It must have been rough." She tried to sense if anyone else was there.
He's good, for a traitor. Sai watched Sasuke, then redirected the ink beasts away from the fire.
Satoshi stopped when Ike did in the valley. "I don't know this place.'' She looked around. "Ike, are you sure he's here?" "As sure as I can be. Need me any more?" Ike asked. "No, you can go. And thanks." Satoshi patted Ike's head and then stood up again. Ike disappeared. "Have you been here before, Naruto-kun?"
"Would you mind explaining some things?" Kai asked Garxena. "Like what?" Garxena said. "Everything." Kai rubbed her head. "Okay well, Yeifou is the head of this Organization. I guess right now, our enemy is Hideo.... and that hooded guy...." Garxena shook her head, remembering his power. "Takeshi, Dexeon, and Telren are dead." "Wait. Dexeon is dead? How?" Kai was confused. "Me... it wasn't easy." Garxena tried to smile. "But that's a good thing." "Of course." Kai said.
Satoshi looked grimly at the scratch on the metal. "It should do." She took it and let Ike sniff it. Then gave it back to Naruto. Ike sniffed the air. "Got him!" He ran faster.
Two more ink beasts went after Kakuzu, from in front and behind. "Why not just give her to us?"
Ike picked up the pace. Satoshi ran with him. "Naruto-kun, do you have anything of Sasuke-kun's? It'll speed up our search."
An ink beast landed on top of Kakuzu. Sai smirked, holding his scroll and ink brush. "You call Akatsuki a family? Lame."
Sai looked at Sasuke. I'll deal with him later. One mission at a time. He turned to Sakura. "So now you're a traitor just like Sasuke-kun?"
Kai folded her arms. She's right, I've got to keep calm. Garxena smiled. Maybe Kai just needs some time to think about this.
Satoshi smiled and kept walking. She made hand signs and her nindog appeared. "What is it?" He asked, walking alongside her. "Ike, I need you to take us to the place where you last saw Sasuke-kun." Satoshi said. "Fine." Ike walked ahead of Satoshi, leading the way.
