Satoshi walked slowly towards the noise. She was glad to have something else to think about. "Hello?" She called, hoping someone would answer.
Dai heard Becky but kept walking. She's able to move and that's good enough for me. Plus, I can't risk Megumi getting out.
Satoshi looked at the trees. Was that my imagination? I thought I heard someone.
Dai doused her light. "You sure you don't want to look more?" Megumi prodded. "You lied. We're-- I'm going home." Dai buried her hands in her pockets and trudged back to her house.
Dai lit her hand slightly. I don't want to get caught, but I do want to be able to see. She ignored the cold and looked for footprints.
Hinata smiled. "I wonder if there's a star for Naruto-kun and me." She said very quietly. Satoshi looked back at the sound of the muffled explosion. Naruto-kun... what are you doing? She wanted to go back, but she couldn't bring herself to see Gaara again.
Dai rubbed her arms from the cold, she could see her breath. She went back to the park. Not here. Where'd you go, Becky-chan?
"Ino-chan. She says that's the way all the stars were made." Hinata sighed. "Do you think she's right?"
Satoshi wiped her eyes. Naruto-kun's reaction wasn't what I expected... I wonder if I'll ever be accepted in Suna again... "They say a new star is lit when two people meant for each other kiss for the first time." Hinata said quietly.
"She could be in trouble and you're just going to sit here? Not a very good friend. But then, you don't really know how to be a friend, do you, Dai-sama? You never wanted friends; you thought I would hurt them." Megumi's voice resonated through Dai's head. "Shut up." Dai grit her teeth. "So you're willing to risk Becky-chan's well being just because you're scared?" Megumi knew she was getting to Dai. Dai got off her bed, put on a jacket and went outside. I win. Megumi kept that to herself.
Satoshi kept running. He never liked me. How could I even have hoped he would...? She stopped just outside Konoha. "The day has passed quickly." Hinata noted. "The stars are nice."
Hinata laughed. "Maybe." Satoshi hit the ground roughly but she got right back up. Village... She shook her head, and ran away, tears streaking her face. OOC: doing christmas stuff. might bbl
"Dad." Hinata answered. "I- I don't think he'd approve."
"N-Naruto-kun and I... you won't tell, will you?" Hinata asked.
Satoshi stepped in front of Naruto with her arms out. "Please, Naruto-kun, don't!"
"I guess you must be." Hinata said, remembering Neji was a jounin and must have a lot on his mind. "Naruto-kun, don't!" Satoshi heart was breaking but she still didn't want to see Gaara hurt.
Hinata clasped her hands behind her back. "Neji-kun, what are you thinking?"
Megumi snickered. "You might want to go help your friend." "What?" Dai was confused. "I sense one of your friends has passed out. The Ayume." Megumi said. "No." Dai refused and sat on her bed. If I go to Becky-chan, Megumi will just break free again. I can't risk it.
Satoshi bit her lip and lowered her head, fighting back tears. She wanted to be with Gaara, she didn't want to be banned from Suna. "I- I understand." She said as steadily as she could. Tears blurred her vision. Hinata smiled. "It wasn't what I expected, but," She tapped her index fingers together. "I'm happy."
