"If I hadn't said anything... if I had just run... would it have made a difference...?" Satoshi thought aloud. "How could he cause so much damage in just one attack...?" She stood, locking her knees so she wouldn't wobble. "I want to go back."
"He said to come to him and then he took me with him. He said...." Satoshi stopped. "He lied... it was you he sensed coming... that's why he took me... not to protect me but because he didn't want to fight you..." Satoshi pieced together.
Satoshi's muscles relaxed and she opened her eyes. "Like an idiot." She murmured. "I actually considered his offer..." Tears of shame came to her eyes.
"Tch, just go die again." Kai folded her arms and stood by a window. "And I'm not and ex-world protector. I'm doing my job by staying here." She said stubbornly. What else can go wrong? A wave of guilt swept over Garxena, and she stepped back. The only girl for me. The words echoed in her head.
Satoshi grit her teeth, trying not to yell from the pain. She felt her consciousness slipping but she desperately tried to stay awake for Gaara.
Kai shut the book. That might come in useful later. She put the book back on the shelf and went down to the lobby. Garxena was in bliss as she kissed Silax. I'm glad.
Satoshi felt dizzy. That was... the Gobi's chakra... then... why am I still hurting...? She closed her eyes, feeling her body numb.
The chakra increased, burst, and then disappeared; healing the wound so that there wasn't even a scar. Satoshi's eyes faded back to gray and she was panting.
Purple chakra mixed with Tsunade's. Satoshi winced. This isn't my chakra...
Satoshi nodded, not able to bring herself to talk. Her breathing rate increased and when she opened her eyes they were purple instead of gray.
Satoshi shut her eyes. This poison... it's so strong.... I don't think I can- She started coughing.
Satoshi managed to open her eyes half way. "...'Cause I'm a monster...?"
Satoshi smiled weakly, keeping her eyes shut. She felt like something inside her was fighting the poison but she didn't know what it was. She was having trouble thinking. Her breathing slowed even more.
Satoshi started feeling weaker. "Gaara-sama... do you... hate me...?" She said to try to keep awake. OOC: bbs
Dai was running her finger along her desk, thinking of ways to stop Megumi. She noticed what she was doing and pulled out a book from her bag. If Dai didn't want something noticed by others, they didn't notice it. When a boy approached her and asked her if she was busy tonight, Dai held out her hand with her number on it. She heard the boy receiving claps on the back and 'wows'. She rolled her eyes. I never answer my phone, dumbass.
Now that Satoshi wasn't forcing her body to move, the poison spread faster. "It's... so hot..." Satoshi muttered. She half opened her eyes, finding it was hard to see clearly. It was just... one attack... how...? Satoshi shut her eyes again. OOC: what are temari and her students doing in konoha's forest of death?
Kai caught the words 'light control' and started really reading the book. Garxena wrapped her arms around Silax as she kissed him. Forever? OOC: watching bleach so it might take me a little longer to post ^.^
Garxena leaned into Silax. Don't ever leave me. I don't want to be alone. She didn't mean for Silax to hear the thought but if he did she didn't care. Kai sighed and opened the book, reading the words but not really taking in their meaning. Her mind was busy trying to figure out Genin and Kyo.
"I'll just leave you two alone." Kai left to the library. Peace in books. She picked a thick book off a shelf and sat down. But she didn't read the book. She put a hand to the locket. Garxena must have kept whatever she could. The locket... her bear... journals.... I'd like to see what's in her trunk. Garxena kissed Silax back, not worrying about Genin or Kai.
"You what?!" Kai stood up. "Silax, he won't talk. Why did you bother?" Garxena ignored Kai. Telren... back? That worries me, but if Silax says he can send him back, then I guess I'm okay with it. She smiled. "As long as you're safe, Silax." Her eyes flashed to the ring.
