"He-" Satoshi looked over at Gaara. "He gave up... I don't know why... Why would he just give up...?"
"We won't be fighting. We're just gonna check out something. Don't worry too much, okay?" Kairuto put a hand on her shoulder. "So you're planning on doing THAT?" Megumi snickered. "You don't have nearly enough energy for THAT." "Either way I die." Dai responded, still reading. That's all that matters...
Satoshi realized she was holding her breath and exhaled. She opened her eyes part way. Rescued again... She tried to move and found that it only cause move pain and bleeding. "Naruto-kun... I'm sorry... I couldn't-" She shut her eyes, hoping that she wasn't crying.
"You're right in saying that, Sasuke-kun." Orochimaru could feel his body starting to reject him. He jumped up through the hole that Satoshi's jutsu created and vanished.
Orochimaru glanced at Kabuto and the two Sound ninja. "So the traitor Sasuke-kun has brought the fox to me. It seems you're not completely hopeless, Sasuke-kun. But you are a bit late." He looked at Satoshi. Satoshi's eyes were closed and she was trying to make sense of the voices she was hearing.
"Hey, don't be so serious. Rei and I are a great team. We'll be fine." Kairuto said, though he wasn't sure how true the words were.
Orochimaru looked into Satoshi's eyes, seeing a determination similar to Naruto's. He didn't bother to say anything; just extended his arm, which turned to a large amount of snakes. Satoshi managed to cut off some of the snakes' heads before getting bit on her neck and arm. Dammit! She cut a few more snakes and then jumped backwards, panting. Orochimaru's arm returned to normal, with several wounds. Satoshi grit her teeth. This doesn't hurt... She told herself. Orochimaru flashed behind Satoshi. Before Satoshi could make a move against him, he threw her into the wall headfirst. Satoshi cried out in pain. She felt herself loosing consciousness. No... not yet... She threw a kunai at Orochimaru and fell onto her side. A small puddle of blood formed around her middle. Orochimaru caught the kunai easily. He threw it so it stuck in the ground in front of Gaara. "If you're not going to fight, then leave."
"It'll just be for a little while." Kairuto assured. "It should be over around eleven."
Orochimaru waited for Satoshi to strike. Her eyes have a resolve in them. He smirked. She's accepted that she will die here. "Earth Release: Landslide Jutsu!" Satoshi formed the hand signs. The ceiling caved in above Orochimaru and herself. She dodged the falling rubble, trying to keep an eye on Orochimaru at the same time. Orochimaru barely moved to avoid the attack. When the dust was gone, and while Satoshi was still trying to locate him, he ran the Kusanagi Sword through her gut. Satoshi's eyes widened. I didn't even see... She coughed up blood. It splattered onto the sword and dripped to the ground. Orochimaru purposely drew the Kusanagi Sword out slowly. "You aren't a challenge at all without using the Gobi, Satoshi-chan." Satoshi dropped to her knees. I can't give up yet... She put a hand on her stomach and then moved it to her back. I can still move. She struggled to her feet, blood dripping from her back and stomach. She drew a kunai. "I'm not done..."
"Yeah... Think you can handle dinner on your own tonight?" Kairuto asked.
The snake let go of Satoshi and disappeared. Orochimaru smirked. "You're asking for your death." Satoshi shrugged. "I've only got one person to live for... And I can't even control myself around him... So why should I bother trying?" She smiled sadly. "I guess I won't become the best ninja in Suna..." "Touching." Orochimaru said. The Kusanagi Sword flew towards Satoshi. Satoshi dodged at the last second, the Kusanagi Sword grazing her arm. I've got to focus now. Gaara-sama is here. I can't lose. And I won't use IT.
"Are you sure...? We can wait for a little bit, can't we?" Kairuto gazed at the clouds as the left the library. "Alright. We'll compromise. We'll go tonight." Rei caved. "That's not much of a compromise, but as long as you're feeling more up to it by then, it's fine." Kairuto put his hands behind his head. OOC: lol kairuto is walking like naruto
Orochimaru looked at the two. "That's all that you're going to do?" He stood over Gaara. Satoshi looked at Gaara. I can't... Maybe I really am weak... She shut her eyes and gathered herself. "Hey snake face!" She called to Orochimaru. "If you want me so badly, then take me on! Right here! Just you and me!" OOC: whew! another fight between these two will take a lot of thought! ^^'
"Y-yeah. Let's go." Kairuto started walking towards the exit. Dai read carefully read and reread the pages. I have to be sure that I don't make a single mistake.
"That's not even worth mentioning." Orochimaru said. "You have nothing interesting about you." The snake wrapped its tail around Satoshi. Satoshi's eyes faded back to grey. He figured it out... Feeling defeated, she didn't even try to fight the snake.
"And what would that be?" Megumi asked. "I'm sure you'll figure it out soon enough." Dai opened to a page near the end. "Hopefully, you won't be able to do anything by that time..." She muttered. Kairuto walked with Becky to check out the book. "Hey... Something's not right... We better check out the Hiwatari's place after this." Rei muttered. Kairuto was taken back. "But you're still-" "That doesn't matter. This doesn't feel like something we can leave unchecked." Rei said. Kairuto sighed. "Got it."
OOC: yes! ^^ BIC: Satoshi bit her tongue to keep herself from lashing out again. She still glared at Orochimaru. I don't care what it takes, I'm not letting him get away with this. Orochimaru just started back into Satoshi's eyes. "Getting a bit testy?" "I thought I told you to shut up!" Satoshi yelled. I can't take this!
Orochimaru laughed. He pulled away from the kunai that Satoshi used to pin his arm and dodged Gaara's attack. After Orochimaru made a few quick hand signs, one of the pillars turned into a large snake. It faced Satoshi with it's mouth wide open. Thin, dark purple liquid dripped from its fangs. Are all his snakes poisoned?! Satoshi looked from the snake to Orochimaru and back to the snake. "You understand, don't you?" Orochimaru snickered at Gaara. "If you kill me, my snake kills your girlfriend." Lowlife! Satoshi held herself back from saying it aloud. No, wait... He won't... He CAN'T do it. If he really wants me, which I think he does because he's going through all this trouble, then he won't kill me. He just wants to save his own skin so he can get a new one. She shook, partly out of fear of the snake and partly out of anger. I'm sick of being a target!! And I'm sick of him thinking I'm weak! Her hands balled into fists and she glared straight at Orochimaru. "Shut up!! You're a liar! You're just afraid that you're going to die here!" She grit her teeth, her eyes burning purple. "I swear you will."
"Nah, but that's not important. I'm sure I can find it somewhere else." Kairuto said. Dai shut her door and locked it. She knelt down and pulled a large book that she'd taken from her father's study out from under her bed. She sat cross legged on her bed. She checked her door again and even looked at her window. I gotta make sure that only one person knows what I'm doing.
Kairuto looked around. "Go ahead and check that out. It might be useful." Dai shook her head. "I- I've got something I need to do..." She went to her room. And not much time left. OOC: yeah. either she's being nice or being evil and tricking dai! buahahaha! XP
