Everyone is born with power. But only some can awaken it. Until it awakens it eats the energy of the person. So if they don't use it for most of their life (Before they turn 18 normally) they'll die. The people normally keep it hidden from the rest of the world. Some people with powers teams together, almost like 'gangs'. One of these groups turned evil and control the Nightcrawlers, their leader is unknown at the moment. Nightcrawlers are creature who feed off of the powers from people, they perfer the stronger ones who haven't used their powers for a long time. They can take the shape of almost anything, even humans. It would also seem that many different beings are being drawn to a certain city (I'll make up a name for it...sooner or later....Please help me!). But why? No one knows. Most humans aren't ready for them...
