Hakoda gratefully accepts his training is over and states Kai has 48 hours to become ready for the journey ahead. He was ready to join him and the others in the fight against the fire nation. They would meet their sister tribe to the north of them. As he walks back to the village, he tells his brother, "It is all over. I can finally redeem the death of our parents. Stay here, you have a large responsibility to keep the villagers safe. They need you in case any fire troops invade."
Spoiler I don't mind Aang having facial hair. or Sokka for that matter, Its Toph that has impressed me the most. Our little Earth Bender has grown up :')

Very dark episode Spoiler They just don't look the same as adults, you could tell they were under great deals of stress. Especially Aang and Sokka. Toph just looked like she was there as a body guard or something.
