I only ever use the PSN cards, so I'm not concerned about money. I'm just concerned (Like mopst people) about my account in general, despite my last time playing online properly was just after BOps came out.

That's actually a really good question. I'd love to read this for a long time, if you can be bothered making a long story. You could do quite a lot with this story.

The music is really intense and I can't help but think of those epic fights I saw as a child and imagine them with this music played in the background. They're really worth checking out if you like this kind of music.
I awlays thought i would be cool if every now and then, you got money after you became the Champion, because you'd have trainers want to battle you, but you'd be too strong, and you'd get some of their money, like when you lose. Or people randomly want to battle you when you're walking around. Just something to make you realise you actually are the Champion, and it wasn't just some other trainer in a fancy costume you defeated.
It's not that I'm against them. It's just that I don't reallt think there is much thought going into pokemon anymore. I mean really? A Pokemon that posesses Household appliances? And an icecream cone? What about bags of rubbish? All Pokemon resemble something, such as a bird, or a dog, like perhaps a snake or a kobra (Ekans and Arbok), but really? An icecream cone? When it evolves, it gets another scoop. I think part of the reason people didn't say "Hold on. THat's just slime. And that's bigger slime" with Grimer and Muk is because even though you knew they were just slime, or ooze, or toxic waste, they didn't really look like it. Fearow is a bird. It looks like a bird. But it doesn't look like any bird I've ever seen. I think the reason that Pokemon was so popular was because they looked so similar to creatures that we see every day, and as children we always had that active imagination. "A small bird? Maybe it's a pidgey!", you know? But now, it's just moved from being creatures, to household appliances and my chores. Also, in the anime, I'm sure that Gengar just gave Ash an out of body experience or something. The western adaptations of the anime are way to sugar coated to have someone dying.

Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler I don't think that Pokemon has gone downhill as such. I just think that Nintendo and Game Freak should have stopped after Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. The gameplay, I have no issue with. It's basic enough for a child to play and understand, but there is enough there to make it an enjoyable time. The story of Pokemon in general doesn't really change with each Generation of games. Red becomes Silver. Silver becomes whatever the kid's name is in R/S/E (can't be assed looking) and so on and the general story is "Here. Have a Pokemon. Now go get eight gym badges and then beat five of the best trainers we can find." I haven't really played that much of my copy of Black, purely because it's so different for me. I don't like the way that there are 150 totally new Pokemon that I'm stuck with until I finish the main story of the Pokemon league, but from what I've heard, the story is at least twice as extensive as previous games, where Team Rocket/Magma/Aqua/Galactic were just a small mini-plot and mostly an annoyance but Team Plasma's story continues well after the Elite Four. The new elements to the game play were quite interesting though, such as the triple battles, which do introduce a totally different style of play. Perhaps it's just because I grew up (like most people, hopefully) playing Pokemon Yellow, staying up late and playing Crystal and borrowing my friends copy of Emerald then my brothers copy of Diamond and Pearl.
