You need to find out which guy you like more. Which one is the better guy, and if what you're feeling is real. The best friend may be better for you, may not. You have some serious thinking to do and I don't know how to help without knowing them some more, and even then I wouldn't know them for real =/ But if the only reason why you're still with your boyfriend is because you're dating him and past feelings then it might be a good thing to move on. However, if you're only 'in like' with the friend and it's cause of looks then it wouldn't be worth it. ...It depends how close you and your boyfriend are. If you're worried about losing him then your bond needs some work. Someone worth fighting for is someone who think you will never lose. Not over something like this anyway.
This^ He does sound like a good guy, but it won't be worth it. Sure you two can remain friends, that can be good, if you don't lead him on and etc, but I don't see the potential relationship if you don't like him that way. Still young, no need to trap yourself in that and end up crying when it doesn't work out and feeling awful when he is sad for the break up. I've seen it happen to friends way too many times.
