Alice quickly said 'exactly' to avoid further suspision and buy her time to think up of something to say. "I didn't even know where she went or packed for the trip properly. I couldn't even make it to this town before running low on water. And I didn't even think of if she'd want to come back or not or let me travel with her..." Alice mentally cringed. She hated lying, especially to someone as nice as Pan. But she couldn't bring herself to fully trust anyone, not after all of the betrayals she had to go through. Plus it was best if people didn't know what she did, it was against her people's law to talk about the Seer after all.
I'm okay. What about you?
"Yeah this place is rotten..." Alice muttered to Pan's comment. She was spaced as she walked along side Pan, standing still got them brushed aside and bumped into several times. Alice found an area off to the side to stand and talk. "And I'm not that sure... I kind of came here on an impluse so I have no actual plans." She finished with a nervous giggle.
Alice couldn't help but to return the smile. But after a breif smile it faded slightly and she titled her head. "So you're heading out?"
Alice had wondered through the town when she had rested up for a bit and now was looking for some wares to buy. Then after exiting a shop she noticed Pan in the corwd and hurried over to her. "Hey! I didn't think you'd still be here..."

Alice wanted to follow Pan out of the town but she knew she wouldn't get very far if she did not rest for a bit ate ate. So she made her way to some sort of a traven where she ate and had some water. Then minutes passed and she could feel the magic within her healing her tiredness and though the best thing to do at the moment would of been to sleep she really wanted to see what was happening outside with the dragon she heard people talking about. Alice went outside and headed towards the forest. She may not of had a good sense of direction but she wasn't that bad at following tracks. A guard came to Gabriel. "Your room has been prepared. You reward lies within." He said then started to turn towards to the door. "If you would, please follow me." ooc: wasn't able to really go online yesterday so I'll send it now ^^'
The Lord sighed. "Being busy is boring." He said simply. In fact, he had a gathering to attend to this evening. He'd much rather be one doing the fighting and going to other places but his country needed him. And though he's been kind to his own people, for the most part anyway, or so he believes, the rest are suffering from taxes and unfair treatment. If anyone saw him they'd love the chance to kill him on the spot. Which is why his advisor keeps him indoors. Micheal looked as he suddenly remembered something, bust quickly got rid of that expression and then looked towards Gabriel with a blank expression. "Well anyway, enjoy your stay at my castle, Gabriel of Moraning." ooc- I actually got an idea for another character...is is alright to add one more? I'll pm you the details.
Micheal titled his head as if he was complating something. When the brief moment of this ended he had a grin and chuckled slightly. "Personally, I would of tortured him longer. Might of kept him alive... But people seem to prove more useful dead to me thanks to necromancy." As he spoke the guard returned with a friend that was helping him carry Gabriel's reward. "If you so wish you could stay here for the night, it's rather boring..." Whatever Micheal true intentions were was masked by his bored expression. He did have that emissary that should be coming back soon, but in the meantime he needed something to do. So test this Gabriel? He seems quite the interesting one...
"It would appear you weren't all that kind to him either." The Lord, Micheal, noted as he examined the blood stains. "Let's see just how unkind you were." His eyes turned a rust red color as he peered into Gabriel's memory. Once he found and wittness the event of him killing the wanted man his eyes returned to their normal blank, dull tan color. Once they were normal again he chuckled. "I like your style." He glanced over to one of the guard. "You there, bring this man his reward right away. Faster you are the bigger your pay will be for the month." He watch the guard hurry off with an amused expression. "Ugh." Alice rubbed her ears as they walked. Civilization was never her thing. Whenever her clan would go into a town she'd find the quietest part there to stay until departure or not enter at all. However, despite this, she still learned enough about how things worked in the largest of cities to the smallest of villages thanks to stories members of her clans told.
Alice still had her back to Pan. The truth was that she was here to find out how close the country was to start a fight with another, if it was at all, and to find someone who she couldn't even picture a face for. But how could she tell Pan about this? Information about the Seer was top secret, so she couldn't blab it to a stranger she just met. So Alice quickly thought up a lie. "I'm looking for someone who ran away from my clan. She was a close friend so I was hoping she'd rejoin the clan...or at least let me join up with her." Before saying this Alice looked back to Pan with a smile. It wasn't a total lie. Someone had ran away from the clan before her. But Alice watch her die.
Alice shook her head. "No, I think I can walk on my own." She was stubborn when it came to people helping too much. And she've already showed her weaker side to this stranger, because for whatever reason she didn't feel threaten by her despite Alice's weakened state. "I have money so I'll pay for whatever we find, in case you're hungry too?"
