God no. XIII was woeful, and from what i've played of XIII-2, they improved, but I think they should just move on. In fact, I think they should probably close the Final Fantasy side of things for a while, so they can come up with something new because right now I really don't see much else they can do, except one of those generic "It was all a dream" things.

I personally still think that it's special. I don't speak for anyone else, though. It's like learning to ride a bike. Everyone can do it, and sure, lots of people can do it way before you, but when you do learn to do it for the first time, you feel so god damn proud of yourself. Perhaps instead of revamping the system, do something similar to what has apparently happened in the RP area, where only posts over a certain length count.It won't stop people spamming for counts, but it will sure as hell lessen it.

Look, if someone was to say "Everyone with X attribute gets $100" and you have X attribute, and you've had X attribute for a long time, and you get said $100, then someone else says "What about if we change it to X attribute caused by Y circumstance?" and you don't have X attribute caused by Y circumstance. They take your $100 that you earned, and you're not gonna be too happy about that.

All I'm saying is that things work the way they are, and there shouldn't be any need to change that. Don't overhaul the system. The system works. Just add things.
