The moment before Aiden attacked Roxy got a foot on the ground and was able to place her hand on the side of the blade, pushing it away from herself. "Come on. Come at me like you mean it." The smug Roxy jumped back slightly, checking to see if the edge was close. It still was off a few feet so she had no worries. After catching a glance at the others, Ivan and Edge, she sighed softly before returning her focus on the ones she was to fight. "Here, the first one to hit me gets a special reward. And if they manage to make me bleed that's an extra reward." Roxy chuckled slightly to herself, waiting to see the how the others would attack before she went on the offensive.
Well, I don't dislike it. Just never can watch/read it cause goes on forever. Why I stopped watching/reading One Piece and Bleach.
I only made it to the end of chapter one. Still going to go die now. And yes, Naruto is now a blessing.
Roxy's dark blue eyes looked over the Reapers she was to fight. The kind Leo, the tempered Aiden, and and the aggressive Stanley. Personalities always reflected in battle. So she knew them well enough to know what they'd probably do, even with these new weapons. But the Scythes... She looked over to their parents. She knew near nothing about them and what they could do exactly. She didn't even know their magic type - she could of learned it, but decided not for a more fair fight. The whole time as they got ready she was thinking about how this was going to be fun. Now that everyone was ready - or ready enough - she pulled the sword out of the ground and pointed it towards the group that was to fight her. "Come at me with all you've got, no holding back or you may just die!" Not like she'd kill them, but a little lie to make them fight with all they got could of been in order. Unless they really, really wanted to get back at her for all of those late night training and studying she had forced upon them. "Let's begin, you have the first move." "Then let us take it." She nodded towards Leo, hoping he'd move into an attack when she was finished, and then turned all of her focus on their target. That dull grey light appeared around her hands once more and she raised them out in front of her. While Master Scythes didn't need to put effort into this simple spell, it took a lot of focus for her.The ground began to raise, spikes shooting out of it in a path towards Roxy. When it got to her, however, she simply jumped out of the way with grace. But maybe one of the others would attack her now she was slightly in midair. ooc - remember, this isn't their first time fighting but it is their first time fighting with their partner. So they can't be perfectly in snych. I am already imagining a big mess up... But they could win still.
I had a whole rant last night so kinda of finished... May be posting a thread in the help with life section later though if you're still interested.

Tora Cross Having seen Zelos pick up Kisa Tora looked down, wishing that someone would pick her up like that right about now. And she even hated being picked up. She sighed inwardily before finding herself in the caeteria with the rest of them. Her eyes scanned the place, causing her to cringe. What a mess... I don't think I have ever seen a room in this bad of a shape before. Well... Not when I had to clean it myself. David Cross David put his hand on Tora's shoulder as a gesture for her to follow. They then started heading over towards the other side of the cafeteria where it was less of a mess. But then he stopped to look around and mocked a look of disgust. "The lower breeds always make a mess of things. What flilth."
