Well a lot of them gave you Dalmations, a lot useless/good items. I don't really miss them because you still get items from chests and you don't have to go back to find chests and stuff like the Trinities.
Hacking this game would be pretty much useless with battle specific codes. Especially like Character mods and junk, they're DMA to every specific battle and junk. (I don't mean like HP and stuff) So yea...
If you could find a way to trick DMA, yes possibly.
