Well, I guess you should start with reference drawings. Copy something else to get a feel for certain shapes, after all drawing is two dimensional and wants to imitate three dimensional objects. the first thing that comes to mind on this part of the subject is that you really want to avoid looking flat. The logo on the hat is an example, it looks as if it's on a flat surface and you know a head is rounded. So take a look at something that's on a rounded surface and think about how it's shape and shadows change based upon how curved it is, and things like that. You also want to avoid looking too stiff and unrealistic. The body you drew here, is shaded and has all these extra details but at it's core is where the problems lie. I prefer a strong foundation over fancy little details and shading, which is why I like to stress the importance of structure. The body must look human, not just humanoid. Four limbs and a torso aren't really enough. Looking at a skeleton or a human figure is good for reference. You should know the proportions of a body. If you do that much you'll at least learn the basics of a human body. Muscles come next but they can be exaggerated or not based on preference and don't have a set design like bone structure will. This will help you because in this one you have arms that are too long, legs that are too short, shoulders that are too high, a neck that is too short, a head that is too wide, strangely connected ankles and feet, and generally a lot of lumpiness and lack of shape. I look at drawing as more of a knowledge based thing than a talent based thing because once you know what you're drawing you can do it, since all drawing is imitating something. So to answer the about problems all you can do is imitate(this one's optional really), study, and practice. Also, I notice your pants and jacket have really odd wrinkles in them, they don't really fit where they are sometimes, so I'd suggest you look at other drawings or clothing for reference. I know I took a lot of time to say, practice makes perfect and the basics are the core that must be right, but this is all there really is to becoming a decent artist. To go further there is more but I really have no business delving into that. I hope that this aided you in your efforts.

Too short and squat. The wideness doesn't fit the height. The head is, well, wrong in almost every interpretation I can think of, from foreshortening to angle and from proportions to dimensions. However it shows that you tried and made use of several technical skills that would be accentuated in a properly drawn body.

Yeah, I can't do faces or hands or feet or legs or arms very well. The hands aren't supposed to be so pointy as you said but it's just easier to leave them like that.
Out of curiosity what kind of expression would you use?

I don't know, I just thought tall, never really considered how so. Unlike some people emotions are not a strong point of mine. *looks at everything drawn* yeah, I've never been good or passable at making an expression look anything but dazed, confused, or dead.
