To those who've played Persona 3 can tell it is my current obsession so of course I am making a role play for it. But my describing things for fandom based role plays and such normally suck and even if I explain a lot of it, it will most likely appeal to those who played the game themselves... So if I don't find someone to help me with it then I may just give it up XD

Anyway...other than that I have nothing.

PS. You all have wonderful ideas. c:

While on the topic of signatures I must say that yours is a piece of art. It is so good that even the masters bow before the masterpiece. c:

Thanks for all of the comments everyone!

Oh, and if you haven't already noticed I added all the characters to the first post and will be keeping an index of the chapters there. So not only will you be able to find them in their own posts but on the front page as well.

So along with posting each chapter like this I am also adding them to the first post along with the characters.
I'm sorry that this chapter focuses on someone you don't know... I needed it for some build-up and stuff.
Also remember to check the group for updates and some extra tidbits for each chapter.
And, no worries. All of your characters will appear again in chapter two.

    -Chapter One-

On August 10th twenty years ago Chris River was born like any other human. He grew up in a happy family, making him a happy child.
Never did he consider the worst. Life was good, so why question it?
But then, fifteen years into his life, tragedy struck.
His mother, the one whom he loved most, was in an accident.
She lived, but fell into a coma. Never again would she be there when he needed advice, nor to give him a reassuring smile. He would never hear her words again and living would never be the same.
It was only a matter of time before the family fell apart.
After a month of suffering he appeared with an offer that changed everything.

    ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

It became unnaturally cold that Tuesday morning. Though Chris thought nothing of it. He simply zipped up his jacket and carried on with his morning walk.
Sometimes he would lay down on the dirt path in the park and hope he would vanish, like he did right now.
    “Why am I still alive?â€
The voice which had spoken Chris's thoughts took him by surprise, causing him to jump to his feet.
    “Am I hearing things now?â€
Chris spun around and there was the source of the voice; a boy no older than himself and wearing a wide grin.
“Who are you?†Chris demanded in a forced tone. Just the sight of this guy terrified him for unknown reasons.
“Ah, does really matter who I am past the fact that I am one who can bring your dear mother back to you?â€
Every instinct of Chris's being told him to get away from this boy, yet he did not move. He could not move. It was as if his body had shut down working altogether besides his mind, which screamed for his mother.
    But...was such a thing possible?
“How...?†Chris asked, already willing to forget logic if it meant his mother would return to him.
The boy chuckled as if Chris questioning him was amusing. “It's quite easy, actually. But it comes at a price.â€
“Of course...†Was his only time to heal his mother slipping by simply because he lacked the money for it?
â€No, no, no-It is not money I am asking for.†The boy paused to draw up the tension. “In exchange for your mother's health all I ask for is your soul! Great deal, right?â€
Chris's eyes widen and he felt himself tremble. “M-my soul?â€
“You watch too much TV. I won't rip it out of you. Just do whatever I say and dear mother stays awake. “
Those words brought Chris some relief but he was still worried. “What...will you ask of me?â€
â€Whatever comes to mind,†he answered, shrugging.
Chris tilted his head, confused as to why he would even do this without having something in mind. However, he did not think over it for too long and soon had his answer.
“Your mother...†his dad cried when Chris got home, “she's awake!â€

    Present
The students sat silently in the classroom as the college professor gave his lecture.
Shifting in his seat was Chris as he tried to take notes while also looking through the corner of his eyes at the girl who sat next to him.
What drew his attention to her was the faint smell of dye and then the curiosity of what color the dyed hair was. After noticing that it was a dark gray color he happened to think “isn't she too young for college?†and now had a strange feeling about her.
    “And that's all for today.â€
The professor's words snapped him out of it and he then gathered his things.
â€Oh, Trey Skeith and Chris River...can I speak to you for a moment?â€
“Huh...†Chris walked to the teacher's desk as everyone else shuffled out of the room.
When Chris got to the desk he noticed that Trey was taking longer even though his chair was closer to the teacher's desk. So he looked over to see what was taking the guy so long.
Trey was turning off his iPod and putting away, giving Chris some time to recall just who exactly he was. Remembering such was easy as Trey stood out with a superiority complex and that dark green headband of his everyone made fun of at some point. But none dared say anything to Trey's face, causing Chris to wonder what was so scary about him.
â€Since you two are the top of my class I have an offer for the both of you,†the teacher said, crossing her arms as she sat down. “There's a program at the school which will help you graduate quicker, if you're interested.â€
"Does it require my pants on? Because around you, I'd rather not.†Trey said with a smug look.
Chris cringed at Trey's comment. He also noticed a frown on the teachers face. “Ah...I-I'll think about it.†He said, fleeing the room before the teacher could lecture Trey. It really wasn't something he cared to be caught in-between.
Upon exiting the room he was greeted with an empty hallway. However, after a few moments of walking towards his next class he noticed that it was unnaturally cold and he prepared himself by wiping all emotions from his face and trying to clear his thoughts.
â€Yo Chris! Long time no see.†Said the voice which belonged to the owner of his soul, a nameless figure in Chris's life which he dreaded seeing.
Since selling his soul to this man Chris had to forsake his humanity as he was told to kill others. The only way he could do such was because the ones he killed were rotten humans on the verge of becoming monsters themselves. That and if he disobeyed this man his mother would no longer be with him.
“It's job time.†The man said happily as a photograph appeared in his outstretched hand. “Annabell Taylor Rose.â€
Chris's eyes widened as he recognized the girl in the picture as the one who sat next to him in class. To think such a person was in public like that...
“This time you have till the end of the day to kill her, so don't mess up!†And then, without any further comments, the man had vanished as suddenly as he appeared.

    The Next Day
The trees in the park had red and brown leaves decorating their branches, the leaves readying themselves to fall down to the ground in a silent death.
Matching the red leaves was the strawberry tinge in blonde hair that flowed gently with the breeze. Only that it was contrasted with a single dark purple streak on the left side of the hair.
This hair sat upon a head of a young female standing amidst the trees of the woods.
Her peaceful respite was interrupted with the sound of footsteps.
When she looked around to see what had made the sound she saw a girl who might have been the same age as her.
â€Huh...?†The blonde tilted her head, looking down at the other girl. After a pause with a confused look on her face she then smiled. “Hello.â€
The first girl got to her feet and nodded slightly. “Hello...†From what she's seen with the people around her and from TV it was polite to say your name when greeting a new person. “I'm Hannah Linberan.†The introducing was short and to the point. Hannah really just hoped that this girl would go away now, because even though she seemed nice Hannah was scared of her. In fact, Hannah was scared of most people since all of them were dangerous.
“Nice to meet you. My name is Delilah.†Delilah shifted, finding it awkward just standing here. So she found a spot near the girl and sat there. “So what are you doing way out here?â€
“Just resting.†Hannah answered with a blank look still. She sat back down and breathed deeply to calm herself. Delilah seemed okay...and if she wasn't Hannah could always just run away...
“Hm...†Delilah frowned, wondering if she was bothering the girl. She began looking around for something to talk about when she noticed a bag next to Hannah filled with various snacks. It may have been rude but she could feel her stomach silently aching. “So...what's in the bag?â€
“Food.†Hannah answered simply, reaching into the bag and holding out a snack bar. “Do you want some?†It was almost as if she was giving the food as a peace offering.
Delilah smiled, taking the snack and thanking the girl. Only after finishing the bar did she speak again. “So...Are you always here?â€
“Not always... But I like it here.†She answered, slowly eating some butterscotch candy.
“Mind if I come eat with you tomorrow, if you're here?†Delilah asked, hoping this was a chance for her to find some dinner so her brother could focus on getting food for himself more so, as he always gave her the bigger share of it.
Hannah paused for a moment before nodding. €œIf I am here.â€
Delilah smiled widely, assuming that this was a friendship in the making. She barely noticed that it was getting very cold around them.
