Exactly. Drugs seem a bit ridiculous to me. Sure I understand some people get drawn to them, but really, getting invovled in things that mess with your mind, make you want it, it basically controls you. Then your family members get upset with you that you took drugs to cope with a problem... It's just a bad path, which is basically what you said I suppose
LOLspeak gets on my nerves personally. I mean come one, how difficult is it to type out the damn word? Not very. Sure I know its going to happen on the internet, because it originated on the internet. But can't it just stay there? When I'm actually talking to someone face-to-face, I really don't want to say a funny joke and hear them say LOL. It just....seems fake. And the fact that students are getting away with using LOLspeak on papers and such is really ridiculous. I mean, if I was turning in an English term paper or something, I definitely wouldn't be using it. In English, you're supposed to show an understanding for reading and writing. By using LOLspeak, to me, it seems like you don't understand it at all. But thats just all my opinion.
I agree with basically everyone else. I'm okay with caffiene, well for one, I'm already addicted to it XD. But the other ones will just really mess with your head and make you addicted. And I don't want to take something that messes with my mind.
I feel selfish for it but.....yes I might. Only if I really screwed up though. Sure there is the saying "Oh everything happens for a reason" and I believe a little bit of that but I'm not fully believing it. I mean maybe everything thing does but thats not convincing me. So I guess I would only if I screwed up big time. But everyone else would probably do that too.

Jeez... Just...Wow. I'm going to agree that yes that was low. That video was just...useless? I can see the point they were trying to make, by trying to convert people over to Christianity, but fear tactics? Those were just extreme. I mean if you listen to a pastor's service on hell, sure its dramatic. But its never like that... Thats just shocking

Well I've never head of this but I find it interesting. (Which doesn't neccessarily mean that I'm for it though.) The only thing that I've heard that closely relates to this is about the Mammoth that we could bring back to life. And it only relates to this because people also believe on this that we shouldn't "play God". Though I really don't think I would pick what traits for my child. Sure, I'm like everyone else and don't want my kid to have a medical condition. But that would be the only reason I would change the traits. I wouldn't want to choose any other trait for my kid because, well, I don't know it just doesn't seem like it would be as...surprising? I'd like to be surprised when I see them. Not see what I picked just because I like those traits. To me, it seems like unique-ness would disappear. Odd traits would be lost because parents wouldn't want their child to be a "freak" No wonder there is a lot of controversy over this. Jeez.
