If your education system is anywhere near as bad as ours, which I'm not saying it is, that's almost assuredly calculus.
Equates to calc over here?
Really? I start swearing and taking things out of context.
idk my bff jill?
So I'll tell you all a story. *gesticulates* ****man, Weedman, and Sawman were all fighting. Then they got boom boom with pixie fairies. That is how the conversation ended.
lol Best post in the whole thread.
Thanks, I appreciate your input. Well I know that real chainsaw would have that issue but not a magic one, and this one is tantamount to being magical. So, although I'd like to draw something more realistic sometimes this isn't one of those times. So yeah, if you want a longer explanation you could ask Chervalier or follow the link in my sig. Whichever will cause you least annoyance. Looking at it now, I sorta see the shape similarity. Thanks for you input. Just as a reminder, I think this one was almost too simple to mess up too badly but I still want to be sure you guys tell me what you think is wrong.
Now I had a real rough time trying to figure out how to draw a chainsaw. In the end I just couldn't do it. I need more time to design it but I kinda liked this early sketch so, you know. Apparently I've offended some people by saying I suck, so I'm trying to think of whether or not I should say it. Either way, this is the Colbert Report. *theme music plays*
The left lock of hair looks kinda like you messed up on it a bit. The headgear is somewhat lopsided and doesn't really have proper physics. Other than those minor details it looks fine. Get rid of the top one though it's the same as the bottom one but with lower quality I see no reason to leave it up as well.
Make me your best President ever. Trogdor. Strong Bad. '08.
I feel your pain man.
All five eh?
Palin is a milf.
The head is too wide. From the right jaw to the ear it is too stretched out and awkward looking. I also think the eyes are too big for the head. In general it'd be pretty much fixed if you simply made the head less flat and shrank the eyes down a mite bit.
I got that for saying blasphemy. Try saying Jesus Christ on a carousel from now on.
Well, I though it would be a bit more apparent that it was supposed to be used that way since the long connecting bit is kinda useless for a short range weapon but you know how these things go. ^_^ People seem to be under the impression that because I don't like my work that I'm going to stop or give up. That is wrong. It simply means I have a lot more work to do that a talented artist does. I hope that clears things up.
Oh, I get what you're saying. Well, it's a ranged weapon meant for throwing and swinging like Cho's Hakujin no Tachi, or Kratos's Blades of Chaos. So it's a non issue where her feet are placed when the enemy is more than four meters away.
Well, feet are just hard for me. More so than even hands. I don't know what to do about it except keep going until it looks alright. I've got a long way to go. About the weapon. You can't really tell what it is because I made it originally for this and I didn't make it too clear what it was. It's basically a hand held spear-- I say spear because it is for stabbing and throwing rather than slashing-- connected to a flexible metal blade with a weight attached to the other end. I got lazy on the hands so I just placed it there. I did this more to get a feel for what this kind of thing would look like than for anything else so there are droves of oversights. Second one... I don't get how it's too far too attack. Can you rephrase that for me? I'll say it as long as that's what I think. Besides, it's pretty much a hallmark of my posts by now. So yeah.
Well this is something in the idea formulating stages. I'm thinking of drawing a short(ten seconds or so) animation with this. I like the physics of motion that you can do with this so I thought it would be a good idea. In the end I think the result is unfinished at best. Here's a movement concept that I again think looks unfinished not just in drawing but as an idea. You know I suck at drawing, but I'd still like to know specifically how that is.
As much as I like this idea, it really isn't a significant portion of the widespread gaming community that does this kind of thing. First you must narrow it to RPGers and real time strategy players seeing as most other games like platformers, and fps's include puzzles that are simple train of logic problems or guess and check problems not unlike the common Rubik's cube. Then I'd venture to say we go even further and narrow our group to MMO players since a normal one player RPG can be conquered with simpler more straightforward methods as far as I've seen it. Battle strategy goes about as far as rock paper scissors in most RPGs it's only in the MMOs and real time strategy games that you can make use of a complete and complex strategy that would require scientific thinking to solve them most efficiently. So, although some games may be a boon to science they are by no means in the majority. Games are there to be enjoyed, you can learn many many things through them, but in this instance, scientific method really doesn't affect the overall gaming community very much at all. At least that's how it seems from this side.
