    No.

    No why were people voting for Abby? Even his own sister... She was a known evil force though. Still... Why were people voting at all? Why did the master of logic go along with this. Was he trying to trick Quin?

    It didn't work. She was on the stage before he could even finishing processing what was going on.

    Quin. Quiet violinist. Aimed. And fired.

    The dragon tamer didn't have enough speed to dodge the incoming attack. In fact she didn't seem to register it at all. Was she paralyzed?

    Bam. Direct hit. One hit KO.

    "What..."

    Battle Over. Quin wins. Levels up. Evolves to The Archer of Death.

    "Haha...that's great and all but..." The battle was over now. Where was Abby? She had to have more lives than this, right? Maybe her respawn area was just at her house... Yes, that had to be it. He'd surely see her tomorrow.

    And now. Possession once more? So this is what the others saw when he was the one on stage... But. An eye for an eye? "Haha. That's a nice twist. A good end to a hard quest. But-"

    And then Quin had an arrow hurling at her.

    He'd save her. Yes, this time he'd actually save someone.

    But just as he began moving someone went ahead of him. They were closer after all, with him at the back of the auditorium.

    Did he save her? Did it work? Please said it worked.

    "Well..." she started, unsure how to deal with the bear. "I supposed you'd call my kind humans..." Yes. That worked well enough. Though she really had to wonder if she wasn't just sitting in some cell somewhere talking to herself right now. In any case...if this did turn out real she should answer... Even if it was fake perhaps the only way through this illusion was to play along? Really, she had no idea. Nor anything else to do at the time. So anything was better than nothing.

    Then, out of the hay, came a rabbit. For some reason it told the bear to go away. Carnivorous rabbits didn't exist in this illusion of hers...did they?

    After accepting the request she took his hand and shook it. Human contact. Contact. It was disturbing and bothered her. But she could at least tolerate it long enough for this. With an unchanging expression too, smile to boot.

    "Now that's something to give thanks to."

    Meerna smiled as he made his offer. Devious fellow, wasn't he? It was rather interesting, so it hardly mattered if it was good or not. It was, good that is. Rather good. That just hardly mattered. Even with her love of money.

    "Alright, you've got yourself a deal." She opened a trade list and finally made note of his name. Chuuya then? Nice. Anyway, she put the Col on it and waited for him to accept. With all of the items already on her counter there was no need for them to be traded, so long as he left them there, so it was a simple trade. "I never done it before, but I'll give out the false information. That should at least make you the first one on the scene, especially if I continue to know most about it."

    "Oh..sorry about that." She grimaced, feeling guilty over her decision. Too late to change it now. But... "Yeah, next time I'll warn you."

    After that Terra said nothing, opting to stay silent until she was finished. Once tied off, she broke off the thread and put the needle down. She wished to clean it once more, just to be sure. When that was through she finally looked away from the wound and around the room. "Did any of you see him enter?"

    Wow...this was going to cost her. Even if each item itself had little worth, all together they could end up at quite the sum. "Hm..." she began going through them, going to a new page in her notebook to write down their names and prices. Some were quite interesting, even if they were common drops. It was just simply amazing what one could find in this world. In fact, items were always more amazing than people to her. That much hasn't change from the real world.

    "I can give you 2,000 for this batch and then...hm... Overall, maybe 4,000." She paused, lifting her head from her inspection.

    This event. What else she knew about it? "Well...not only will it have finding things, but there will probably be hunting involved. That's really all I know."

    M. She would put up a good fight.
    Temperance too. They both looked in pain though...
    Quin. She seemed willing to kill as well.
    Anthony. Naturally he wouldn't even be an option.
    Cherno. Even if he was on the wrong path he seemed resourceful enough.
    Altair...was smiling? Interesting. Though this crossed him off the list.
    Brian made a suggestion just then but up until now he and Aileen were deemed useless by her. But they would protect each other, no?
    Abby... Small, timid, alone... If it weren't for their spent in the gym she would have no trouble offing her.
    Then there was John. Religious nut.
    Hm...with these choices...

    It had to be one of them. She only needed a chance now. And to obtain said chance playing along with Brian's idea wasn't bad, if it'd distract them long enough for an opening and get the others' minds off of killing. And if he was right, well that would mean no one had to die after all.

    Now. What was she guilty for? If her parents were here it would be being gay or simply just existing. That was silly though. Other than that...there was only one thing coming to mind. It was something she wished to forget about though, something she tried to push to the back of her mind long ago.

    "Maybe he has a point... If it is, then..." Maybe she could be vague? "Due to anger issues I once could not control I ended up hurting someone dear."

    "Place the items on the counter then so I can appraise them." She said, turning to the side where she opened her menu. A rather useful item she discovered was a notebook, which she now called upon. In it were notes of various things and colored pieces of paper sticking out of it to mark which each note was about.

    Let's see...purple was events. There's a few of those throughout the book, but only the ones in the back would be any good. So while she was looking through them she would answer his first question.

    "I'm not too sure how the front lines are to be honest. Rumors say they're doing fairly well for them and at this rate they'll have a floor cleared per month. Causalities have been at a minimum"

    Stopping at the second to last page filled Meerna glanced over what had been written there. "There's a user held tournament being held on Floor 29. Later today actually. And a treasure hunt coming up. It's still too far away to have any viable details on it though."

    [ LEVEL EIGHT - BGM - STATUS: WHEN DID THINKING BECOME SO HARD - UPDATE: N/A ]

    He had been congratulated by the master of logic! Heroes can't cry, even tears of joy...right? Otherwise he just may have right there. It was even better than the swooning he had expected upon first revealing the code.

    This was great. A really great day. Oh...besides the flooding part.

    But no. No he had to remain focused. If he was going to keep the praise he just received he had to stop himself from doing anything stupid. That also meant stopping squishing around in his seat, which was quite the shame.

    Vague rules now. Right. That was a bad thing, since it meant they would have to watch themselves even closer. But also good...because no one died from them so far?

    But then they were impossible not to break so therefore they must be broken? It was something along those lines. Right...?

    This was con-HE THREW THE CUBE AT HIM. ANTHONY NOW HAD THE MASTER OF LOGIC'S POWER CUBE.

    He said he wouldn't cry but it felt like he was tearing up a bit now. Brother. Cherno may of called pretty much everyone sister or brother but... Brother...

    "Killing would be too easy..." he started, eye glued to the cube. Keeping up with the conversation now was especially hard, and yet he tried. "What's harder...is not doing that...so there's that... And killing each other wouldn't need a hundred... Actually only one day would..." his voice trailed off as he began fiddling with the rubik's cube.

    Oh. She knew this person...didn't she? Perhaps a regular. She really ought to remember their names...

    In any case, her persona completely shifted now as he entered, standing straight and smiling now. "Good day! What can I get for you?"

    Thanks to her never ending quest for Meerna the girl had several shops on various floors, leaving each to a fellow merchant (none she could name from memory) while she went to the latest one. That was currently on Floor 54.

    Once she entered it she was greeted with warmth and a strong peppermint smell, one which she inhaled deeply before switching from her armour to casual clothes, which entailed an oversized black shirt and the nearest thing that resembled jeans in the game. Simple yet comfortable.

    When that was dealt with she opened the shop's blinds and set the status to 'Open' before moving behind the counter where she rested her shoulders on and then her head on her hands. Now...it was waiting time.

    Made sure everyone's profiles was in the first post finally

    IRL history unknown. Her in-game story is that she took to the front lines nearly instantly, however after a while her goal turned to help others instead, leaving the task of clearing the games to the very capable Divine Dragon Alliance and Knights of Blood.

    In April 2023 she formed a guild of her own, consisting of people with the same goal as her's. They fight the against unjust players who take advantage of the situation to become thieves and murderers. It's a medium sized guild who so far have been successful in keeping peace on most floors.

    New Year's. Once celebrated it is now dreaded as time in the virtual world drags on. Is there still hope?

    Ye who fight against this fate, raise now and march forward. Break the binding shackles and work towards clearing the game. Surely victory will be yours!

    Or have you accepted this reality, however cruel it may be? Perhaps this is the easier path, and your life may be spared.

    Either way things will not remain the same for long...

    Events planned for this month so far: Three. Not all may find and partake in every event, but surely there will be something for everyone.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    It was a feat she never dreamed of accomplishing. But as the fiend before her fell and shattered a window appeared.
    Congratulations!
    You are now level 64!
    How long ago did she finally decide to take this game more seriously? How hard have she fought since? These were questions she no longer could answer. Even what day it was was lost on her. Everything merely...blurred together.
    Panting she closed the window, choosing to sit a while before moving on. Finishing Floor 54 would take some doing, but maybe like this she could join the front lines for the first time... Do they even like seeing someone who took it so easy before? At least...most knew her for her fair prices and seemingly never ending stock. But they have always seen her more as a merchant rather than fighter. A shame, too.
    Sighing the blue haired girl glanced over to her health bar, no, her remaining life, and watched it slowly increase. Once it was full she stood, brushing herself off even though there had been no dust on her. "Repairs... Note to self: get repairs."
    She uttered before laughing. Her only real interactions since that day of that PK had been limited to shops and sales only. Haha... If only she hadn't wandered off. Sure she had no loyalties...and she didn't even like that group... But...but if she hadn't...
    ...
    Sighing once more she turned and exited the dungeon, making her way to the Floor 54's town. What was it even called? What was her name? Oh to forget even that...this existence. This existence was fading.
    Post
    Royal
    After finally deciding on a job Kyle exited the house and began searching for the herbs needed for the shop owner's medicine. With the help of a book found back at the safe house this task did not take long. In fact, it was easy to do once she discovered Fairy Tears weren't literal tears. Because making Pixel cry...well that just seemed cruel. The girl was already emotional enough without being bullied.
    However, now that was done, and reward collected, all was left to do was aimlessly wander around. That was until she saw someone familiar up ahead. I...Issac? No...Ivan!
    Sheesh. With all the time spent with these people you'd think she'd remember their names by now.
    Standing back she pondered if she should try to mess with him or not. He'd hear me coming...wouldn't he? Realizing that caused her to sigh and instead she ended up going up to him and calling out a 'hey.' Maybe this would at least be interesting.
    "What're you doing?"
    [ LEVEL EIGHT - BGM - STATUS: SQUISHY - UPDATE: N/A ]
    With the conversation alerting from killing each other to truces and that Tyler kid Anthony began feeling safer. (Or he assumed she meant Tyler, as there was hardly anyone else on the list to fill that spot.) Because of this he moved out of his spot behind Cherno and down the nearest row of chairs. He went maybe five chairs down before taking a seat, squishing around in his wet clothes for a moment after doing so.
    It was a rather funny noise, enough so to make him laugh like a small child. However he suddenly stopped when he recalled what they had planned to do last night. Mostly because he wanted something to throw out there that could possibly save his life, and he didn't know who else would have had an idea that would have worked.
    "The master of logic said we should group together and try meet ups again. But in smaller groups. This isn't small but if there's nothing else to do then maybe we could try that? And we can figure out what needs to be done here after that's settled. Because it's probably best to try it now before more flooding happens. I really hope no other storms happen... I don't like them."
    He paused, thinking back on what M said. He really didn't know that kid. So it was hard to say if he would ditch them like this or not but he liked to hope all other Players in this would be as heroic as he was. They already had enough evil players with Temperance involved. Her and her moody and rude behavior. And maybe even M. Because really. How often was someone with one lettered nicknames were good? Not often. Plus she was scary...
    ...
    ...Squish...squish... Haha. This is great.
    [ LEVEL EIGHT - BGM - STATUS: EATING - HIDING - UPDATE: N/A ]
    When the cookie had been tossed at him Anthony had little time to see what it was until after he caught it. When that happened a wide grin appeared on his face and he'd forgotten about the evil look Temperance had given him. She was going off somewhere and now her had food, so he'll live!
    Or so he thought.
    It was not long, about half way into the cookie now, when M suggested for them to start killing each other. This statement made him nearly choke on the food, however he managed to force it down.
    "W-what? But..wouldn't she like to do all the killing?" Please, god, let that be true. Against Madeline and Temperance? While already hurting? He'd be done in! Oh... This was a frightening situation to be in.
    [ ◦ ◦ ]
    Moving towards her brother, Elizabeth now stood in-between M and Anthony. How did this conversation shifted from solving a code to killing so quickly? Well...on second thought. Considering the lack of sleep, stress levels, and hunger most probably had it was actually easy to believe. Still, it seemed foolish.
    In any case she looked to Cherno. The guy seemed like one who would rather talk than fight, and so she left him alone for the time being. Otherwise she would have pushed him away to better protect her baby brother.
    That left M... Dangerous type. Respectful qualities but in this situation that made her a threat. Then Temperance... A friend of her once set Anthony up for a horrid prank so the girl was already on Elizabeth's list.
    "If anyone's going to die...it would be whoever is foolish enough to dare to try to hurt my brother. Stay away and I really couldn't care less if you all start tearing each other apart."
