Scarlet left her spot on the booth as sign ups were drawing to a close. She couldn't do it. She couldn't just sit there and watch. And what luck she had when she saw a three person group walking towards the arena. Surely they would need another person among their ranks, so she simply had to take advantage of the situation. There was a female talking about setting up shop, so she had to of been the odd one out. Instead of waiting for the others to say something in return she inserted herself into the conversation, standing near by the group. "If you need a partner, I've yet to find one. It'd be more fun then tending to a shop anyway. Especially when everyone will be watching instead of buying."
can i just post this here for future reference because i'll probably forget plus others can see it too Spoiler: House Status [12/8/2012 11:19:53 PM] Snuggles 瓜nine: M's house is safe, as she is so far away she is OUTSIDE of bitter point, and on high ground Abby's house is mildly wet but not flooded (how sad :c) Brian's house is mildly wet but not flooded, but the level of the strait is close to his house and Oishii Tabemono is sort-of flooded (like maybe 30 cm of water) Aileen is relatively safe, she probably has the driest house BITTER POINT: Cherno and Johnathan's houses are both completely flooded and partially wrecked SEALAND: Elizabeth and Anthony's house is completely flooded and probably has THE MOST damage out of all houses Temperance's house is flooded but not very wrecked Quin and Tyler's houses are slightly flooded but relatively drier because Sealand Park helped stop any increasing flood
[ ◦ ♥ ◦ ♠ ◦ ♣ ◦ ♦ ◦ ] None of it felt real while it was happening. Living so passively seemed to do that. Even when you make plans to do something and speak throughout the event, it feels like a dream until it is over. Abby was dead, and she allowed it to happen. It was... different than the other deaths. Thomas, Ash, and Xavier were nothing more than strangers to her. Passing thoughts, ones she cared little for. This time, though, she had gotten to know the victim. She heard her worries and saw her pain. She even held the girl... Footsteps were nearing, snapping her out of the daze. They belonged to Anthony, it seemed. Good. He seemed unharmed. However after speaking to him she learned of a break in shortly before their house flooded, and after a fight with the two assailants he heard their voices. Fellow students, he said. People they both knew... Traitors. Now another set of footsteps approached them. Good, they were offering them a place to stay. After hearing Anthony accept she quickly said no and left the building. She had matters to attend to now. [ LEVEL NINE - BGM - STATUS: ??? - UPDATE: N/A ] Anthony looked to Brian when he started speaking. A wide grin appeared on his face and he nodded happily. "Yeah!" He began bouncing around, missing Lizzy's leave. A sleepover? His first sleepover! Oh this is going to be so much fun. And with it, he nearly forgot everything that just happened. "I got to go back for my bag." He started back, realizing his jacket was also left on the chair back in the auditorium. However he then stopped. Everything was soaked. And it was back with Abby. "Or... You know I don't have a change of clothes. Oh my house is so ruined now I bet. Can I burrow some? I don't have money to buy anything new yet." Thinking about it now, even if his house could be repaired and his things replace he didn't exactly want to go back there. In fact he marked it off as an unapproachable zone. He'll be fine at Brian's. And once he had to leave...Well he'll think of something. But more importantly... "And food! We need food."
[ LEVEL NINE - BGM - STATUS: ??? - UPDATE: N/A ] "Damn right!" Anthony shouted at Altair's comments. Hearing Quin Anthony turned around. "The mighty Altair saved you! Granted I was about to do that too...but oh well." Though it wasn't moments after saying this did the other nearly fell over. It would seem that the 'Mighty Altair' had almost fainted. Laughing at this Anthony hoped off the stage, landing with a soft splash. Though instead of just walking away, he froze. Abby had yet to leave the area. If her body didn't fade away, how would it respawn at her save spot? Shaking the image from his head he turned back to the stage, looking up towards Quin. "Well if everything's alright now, I think I'm going to get out of this place. I don't like it here. Too much...water." Yeah, water. That was obviously why he wished to leave this place immediately. Why he never wanted to look back. He didn't even think of sticking around to help the two. Their HP would be recovering plenty now anyway, so he had no reason to do so. They'd be fine now the level had been beaten. That was how these things worked after all. The only hard part was leaving without looking at Abby again. But he managed, somehow. And it seemed that his sister had already gone. WHich was strange, since he thought she would leaver after him. Oh well. It hardly mattered. What he chose to focus on next was how he was going to apologize to Abby. He hadn't done anything to help her after all. Nothing. Would she even forgive him...? He really hoped so. Because they were going to fly dragons together! And he would have an actual friend, one who loved things like that just as much as he did. Sure he had a fellow hero now...but that was different... At least he'd see her again. Sometime soon, too... Because he had finally gotten the nerve to ask her about the dragons in person. He just hadn't had the chance yet. Maybe he will tomorrow...
[ LEVEL NINE - BGM - STATUS: ??? - UPDATE: N/A ] Nearly the moment after he saw that the both on stage had lived Anthony began making his way towards it, despite Quin still being possessed. However by the time he had finally jumped onto the stage something about a curse was said followed by something he didn't quite understand. A new language was discovered! Anyway... Quin was out. However she could awaken soon. Or was she actually awake already? He didn't really have the time to check though as Altair started shouting. "Wow hey there." No more insanity for tonight, please. Or today. However long it has been just no more. He's had enough. He didn't exactly stop to ask if the other male was okay or not though, as his mind skipped directly to the reason why he came up her. Beyond seeing if they were unharmed, anyway. "That was totally awesome! You touched the demon. Well. Quin, actually. But the demon was possessing her! So it counts! That's total hero material you know. Not on my level..." he lied, "but totally close. You'd be able to join me on the top rankings for sure now. Already saving people... Next, we could totally slay monsters together!" Wait. A scream! Oh this was perfect. He could totally save someone now and equal Altair's score.... Oh. Wait. It was just the evil temptress. That was lame. Wait...it was the...evil temptress. She had a weakness? Well of course she did, everything did. Anthony just could never figure out what. But now he knew at last! Just like all evil things like her they melted in water, huh? Yeah. That was totally it. Haha...he'll get her now. Not...right this moment though. Now, he was befriending someone. Or he thought he was anyway. But the other had yet to reply so whether it was working or not had yet to be seen.
Floor 29. It was nearly empty when Scarlet's guild moved in, as everyone just seemed to move through it. However once they made their base there that had change as it became one of the safest floors in the game. Escorts were provided to low ranking players as they braved the wilderness and assistance to leveling was even given. And as it was The Moonlit Swords' goal to ride the game of any who dared to cause harm to another player it was no surprise they ensured everyone's safety here. It was their base of operations after all, and if they couldn't keep order here no one would trust them to keep order elsewhere. And to do what they did the people's trust was the most important thing in their guild. Without it, it would be impossible to be a self-proclaimed police force. It was going well so far, but they needed money. And after a vote a solution was chosen; a tournament. This was most likely due to the colosseum on the floor. Even as it was used by them for training it still felt as if its presence there was going to waste. So she agreed. And now the stands were filling as she stood watch in a VIP section. Is this how queens felt...? Shaking the thought she sat down as they finished registering players at the entrance, hoping some good fighters showed. Why, maybe some would even consider joining her guild... It was at least a hope she held on to as time passed.

Taking the coat Yana put it on, wishing to waste no more time here. Dungeons were hardly her thing, and on the chance some of this was actually happening standing around and talking seemed pointless. "Alright," she said with a nod, "let's go." To save their friend, whatever he may be.
So this rabbit knew of whom she spoke of. Well, if she was in fact a figment of Yana's imagination that was to be expected. Moving on. She held out an open palm, waiting a moment before calling forth her keyblade. It appeared in a flash of light, causing her to have to quickly catch it. "I never heard the word keyblade before she said it...and yet I knew the word somehow." She laughed. It was hollow, and wouldn't have happened if she wasn't still under the impression all of this was fake. "Kind of obvious though. With its shape."
Expressionless per usual, Yana simply stared at the white rabbit as it spoke. So it was human too? This resulted in a short nod from her as she finally settled on playing along. All of trying to figure out what was going on was ruining her normal personality settings and causing her head to ache viciously. So now to answer how she got here. Simple enough. "I was tending to the shop when a masked stranger entered it. She was rather rude, might I add, and spoke of the keyblade. I tried fighting, but...well, as you can see that got me nowhere good."
With a family member with it and a blood line with many disorders in general I've always been afraid of having it. As I've shown signs, though that could just be a form of overthinking about it, and in every instance I've heard about it, the thing can turn on like a switch late in life. Not sure how to handle it, but I already question what is real and what is not. Probably unrelated I know, but still. Just a thing I happened to type out. I feel sorry for the people with it in the case that everyone labels it as crazy and think they should be locked up. Most don't even realize that there's varying levels. (Everyone in here has though, thankfully, but in media they show it so stereotypically most of the time. Granted I think how it's represented is improving. Still in my school I once heard a conversation where someone mentioned crazy people and this was their first thought. Like instant example of insane.) Though it's also bad when it causes daily life to be so hard to get through which is another reason to wish others better. However with meds it's...like a double-edged sword in my opinion. Like above, it changes people. But it could also be helpful. To me, I think the way it effects someone's mind isn't worth it, though this would of course vary on the case and person's own personal opinion.
Nights' right. If they are seriously going to call you stupid over such a trifle matter then it's really not worth dealing with. What's worse is that they allowed it to spread to others. If the first few were just guys you just spoke to then that's better, in the aspect that it shouldn't be too hard to just cut ties with them. However having such a thing going around can be bothersome, I know. If simply just ignoring both them and the rumor doesn't work at first then prove them wrong with your grades. And by studying about things you talk about and care for, so you'd never be wrong about it or able to called stupid. If they call you if even when you're right then that alone proves their idiocy. You can even laugh, right after they've said it, and walk away. In most cases not knowing why you laughed drives them crazy, or at least throws them off. In the end maybe finding some people who aren't so rude would help. In that case you can just talk to them and no one else; doing so blocks all negative words out and you create your own world within that group. Things bugging you then gets pretty hard, and if they do get to you you'd have people backing you up. Even one friend would do.
I feel compelled to post in here because when Ven was rude to her when the three finally met up I was so pissed off. Like, she went through all that trouble just to make sure they were okay and only wished for her friends to be safe. But as Misty said selflessness can be foolish. This is true, but I think it's also a nice quality. In moderation, as is everything. For Aqua, though, it was her greatest weakness I think. I don't see her having any regrets at least, not for the most part. She simply did what she thought was right and would result in everyone's best interests.
