I spent the greater part of my last hour reading this, dumb I know, so I feel obligated to post. I'm done and I guess that's okay. I feel like having a startling revelation or an opinion or something but I guess it's just not the right time. So I guess that's it.
By far the best of these dog thingies you've done but I wholeheartedly agree with HaybusaZeroZ that this needs work in the areas of texture, detail, and depth.
Strive for the best. That's the supposed goal in the practice. This story you tell just seems like the parents have standards that the child conforms to in spite of the fact that if they tried harder they could do better. Though everything is subjective it's pretty clear that an A is the best thing you can get in terms of your future eligibility and learning is likely a byproduct. The whole trying thing is fuzzy because so many people that do badly are doing badly because they aren't trying whether they feel they are or not. I don't have a satisfactory response for this but overall the grade and learning should be the two things to look at first not effort taken in obtaining these.

It's because people aren't truly okay with gay people yet. We went from stoning(with rocks not weed), to ostracizing, to ridiculing, to this. It's a progression caused by people(fangirls(fanboys)) who think of homosexuality as an exotic thing. It's interesting, different, "hawt". Take your pick but either way it is a construct of the feeble minded that can't understand an intellectual love and believe everything from clothing to personality is exclusively based on the sex drive. It's merely a way to get attention, have some fun, or act out a fantasy. The whole thing is empty and doesn't really make sense so I agree with Dalk that it is a simple matter that cannot be truly explained to any degree of satisfaction. That's one side but you could also say that the next step, whole "no homo" behavioral pattern, is a reflection of insecurity people who unlike fangirls are not enticed by the idea but afraid of being corrupted by it, these people are equally weak because they find their own personalities so weak that they think anything that can be misconstrued as them being homosexual is wrong. In short people just care too much about what others are doing and thinking, they need to get a grip on themselves and mentally steel themselves because it's stupid to let every little breeze blow their thoughts out of proportion. Also, did you mean to type monogyny? I'm sure monogy is not a word.
I should and I will when school ends but for now I just ask you to bear with my current level. I totally understand where you're coming from but it's a little hard to do much with long a black coat, I'm going to change that later but I was more concerned with putting something there at all.
