[ Contact Information Mood: Bored Subjects: 003; Ben OOC: Shit post. ]

Today consisted of his regular routine with the return breakfast, giving a much better start to the morning than the last two days. This allowed Elliot to think clearer as he prepared for his appointment with Olivia.

Speaking of, it appeared to be time to leave.

On the way to her room there was a familiar face floating around, his room mate Ben. Why, it was rather odd that said boy had been been added to his subject list first but things happened in a strange manner, especially as of late. This was displeasing.

Waving to him Elliot made his way over before checking his watch. There was time to spare so a conversation would be engaged, though short it shall be.

"Good morning, Benjamin. What brings you to the...g-girl's dormitory?"

I thought I posted on it before but I don't see my message? Guess it never went through...

There's a huge problem with godmodding right now. You MUST give the other person time to react to whatever is happening. You can't just say 'they took their ribbon' or 'hit them successfully' unless you have their permission to do so. It should be like 'they aimed for their ribbon' and then the other person can reply with it being a hit or miss. If this fails and ends up dragging on too long I will intervene and pick a winner after telling everyone to wrap it up. (That is, if they can't settle it themselves.)

I shouldn't have to say this though. It's been said before and is in the rules. I left things so open because I hoped everyone would know how to handle these things.

I really love all ideas pertaining to a dream world or another plane of existence co-existing with ours. The most interesting aspect to it, but also the most confusing, is that they make you wonder which parts are real and which are fake.

Out of the list I've only seen The Matrix (downloaded and been meaning to watch Inception though, will probably do so soon). The Matrix, from what I remember, was basically humans going beyond what they understood and could handle with technology and losing in the end. They were placed in an alternate reality which, as far as they knew, was the real world where they were born and raised in. The truth of the matter is that this was just fabricated to keep them at bay, sedated, as the real world kept moving by. Since it was all computer based access between the worlds were rather easy, just needed to hook up. Liked how getting out was a bit more of a challenge though.

In the movies they had to be awoken by another from what I've seen (well they had to have had helped and to know the truth but in the end had to escape on their own) however The Animatrix went a bit further on this. It showed breaks, rips if you will, where the two worlds were colliding and in the center of these areas were a portal or doorway. Another example was the runner who was breaking free, escaping reality. It's hard to put into words since it was emotion and passion... It was just he saw that there was something more and felt like he was flying, pushing the limits...perhaps this made a rift.

Ah, I can watch Inception tonight/tomorrow and come back to edit this post or post again but had to at least state my interest in this now even if I'm no good to help. Guess I got a bit carried away though.

The concept artwork is amazing and the trailer was just really well done. I love stuff like this and nonlinear stories so I'm really looking forward to it. Just...wow; everything about this drew me in.
