[ ◦ ♥ ◦ ♠ ◦ ♣ ◦ ♦ ◦ ] This one was rather down, wasn't she? It was no surprise given how injured she looked, plus who knew what else happened to her up until now. Still, what a bore. At least she wasn't like 'what game?' which made her believe this was, in fact, another part of all this. It was something at least, making this not a total waste. "The snake situation seemed to have calmed down but might still be some loose. Other than that it's really quiet."
[ ◦ ♥ ◦ ♠ ◦ ♣ ◦ ♦ ◦ ] Ha, that was a fun reply. "I wasn't trying to be motivational. Besides, there's enough people out there who will lie to you in hopes it will make you feel better. After all that isn't it nice to just get a sugar coat free, honest comment?" Sigh. Was this a- Wait, this name... It was an uncommon name so how many people out there could be called Bronagh? So this was most likely the one from the email's list, especially considering her ties with the crash. That to happen right after the snakes, and with Quin in it? There was always a chance she was assuming wrong though, of course. So let's be subtle to start. "I'm Elizabeth. Just came by because I thought new faces of this game could be here and would be willing to talk. And with so little time left I may as well, right?"
[ ◦ ♥ ◦ ♠ ◦ ♣ ◦ ♦ ◦ ] She showered, dressed, and then left for round two at the hospital. And how easy it was to slip by and to the elevator. It was easier than lying as she didn't even have any of the crash victims' names, though given the nature of the accident and their ages it was safe to assume they were in the same area. But once there it was really only a matter of luck. After a bit of wandering Elizabeth saw a group of kids and a teenager in a wheelchair. It seemed like a good bet so she headed towards them, finding a near-by chair. She took a few moments to pretend that she was just waiting around before speaking. "Rather spirited, these kids... It's uplifting, huh?" Ugh, she hated small children. That would not show here though, no way. She looked to the crippled patient with a small smile. "Oh dear, you don't look too good... You weren't in that helicopter crash, were you?"
I hope to get my hands on this at some point, looks really nice. Can't believe people wanted to remove Ellie from the cover still though, given how she's a main character in a game which focuses on her relationship with Joel. So I'm glad they kept it the same.
Ah, persona~ Anyway once you adjust you'll see it is not as hectic as it first appears so I hope you stick around long enough to find that out yourself! And there's plenty of sections around with a wide variety of interests around to help you do just that. So welcome! Hope you enjoy your stay here.
Land of Departure. Yana made sure to note down this name before going after Anora, though while following her someone seemed to have scanned her. It was strange, though only a few seconds were spared to examine it before she rushed ahead, catching up with the other just in time to hear the name Kross. Red eyes scanned the others and a lack of order was present; no leader was in here. Or, if there was one present, their followers were relaxed enough around them. That tended to be a good sign but let's up they aren't too lax. Sighing she closed her eyes and her head tilted. Conversing wasn't really her thing so Yana stayed back, deciding to just listen for now.
[ LEVEL TWENTY-FOUR - BGM24 - STATUS: ASLEEP - UPDATE ] Before hearing a reply he was suddenly falling towards the ground. He caught himself but when he stood she was gone. Had she ditched him? No, no way she could get out of the room that quickly. So a search for her began but it didn't last too long before he was kicked out of the palace. Frowning he figured there really wasn't anything to do so he returned to the dorms, finding his room once he had returned. And when he was there he noticed that someone's had been through his stuff. The police, maybe? Made sense since he was dead. Most of it was intact at least but he worried about it all being returned to his aunt now. He needed it. His aunt... She just lost her sister and now everyone will think he's dead. "Haha..." The faint laugh echo'd back to him, taunting him with the fact that he's alone now. Where did Marina go? Was it something to do with this game? He should have stayed and looked harder for her... He'd go back right now but before he could all energy left from him and he found himself passed out on his bed. [ ◦ ♥ ◦ ♠ ◦ ♣ ◦ ♦ ◦ ] On the way to the dorms everything suddenly shifted. It took a moment but she realized that it meant they had returned to normal. This caused a smile and she felt like she could go through plans more efficiently now. This day was over without event but at least they were normal again, so it hadn't been totally wasted. How nice. "She can sleep where ever she wants," Elizabeth replied before changing directions for the girls' dorm, not waiting to see if Allison will be following or not. Once inside her room she found herself wishing to just sleep now in hopes of starting the new day fresh so it may prove more eventful than this one. So once changed she laid down and quickly dozed off.
[ Contact Information ► Mood: Conflicted + Worried + Relieved ► Subject: 004; Darrius ► OOC: N/A ] It was a rather solid theory but before a reply could be made to it Elliot suddenly felt faint as his vision blankened. He wobbled over but caught his balance before falling. Or so he thought he had but when his vision returned to him he was elsewhere. On the other side of the room, by the looks of it. Oh. Oh praise Lucretius! He had returned to his body! "Ah, so it has either ended or we figured out something to-" What was that scent? That oh so familiar scent? The mask he wore on Darrius' body must have prevented him from noticing it before but now it was strong enough to pick up on. And so started the fight between feeling disgusted and intrigued began. Covering his mouth with his hand the boy quickly moved to his desk drawer to pull out a mask but before putting it on he turned to Darrius. "I-I feel very ill all of a sudden. So please pardon me. Maybe we will speak again s-sometime soon." Without waiting any further Elliot enter the bathroom and locked the door behind him, just in case. Once enough time passed the door was opened once more and Darrius appeared to be gone now. This was good. Clothes were retrieved then a shower was taken before Elliot, now reunited with his mask, gloves and body found himself laying in bed. Though sleep would not find him right away as the scent lingered, causing him to stare absently at the wall. Why was it there? While pondering this the boy finally drifted off.
[ LEVEL TWENTY-FOUR - BGM24 - STATUS: ??? - UPDATE ] This was strange. She was strange. A stranger. And yet she was acting so caring, even to the point of showing compassion to someone like him. Her people must love their princess then as she seemed so benevolent. A kind ruler, how nice. He could only hope the King and Queen were like this. She wouldn't mind hearing more. But could he tell her of Elizabeth? As his sister it was his responsibility to handle her but so far he hadn't been able to do it alone. Still...they just met. So no details but he felt compelled to say something, get it off his chest. "Someone killed them. Recently...and I have to deal with their killer. I have to." Then he listened to how Quin had saved her and everyone else in the crash. Archer of Life, now? Or the title remained the same but would just be looked at different. In any case it was impressive, more impressive than anything he's done. But instead of feeling left behind an attempt to be inspired was made. Marina made some valid points as well, though he only nodded at her words instead of working through a reply this time.
Thoughts swirled around in her head as the day dragged on. The monitor beeped and the clock ticked, sounds that were starting to drive her crazy. How was she to think like this? To leave. She wanted to leave, now. Get up and walk away. But getting up was so hard...she'd be in here at least a few more days, though maybe she could knock it down to two or maybe even one... Ah, it was no trouble. She limped out of an ER once before, she'd make do. So it was settled, tomorrow morning would be the departure time. Nothing would stop her from leaving just as nothing stopped her from getting out of her house once she set out to do that. But the other matter...that still needed to be decided upon. This Sario kid, what was she like? There wasn't a name for her, not yet. Could she really sell out someone to them just to save herself? Up till now, when it came to survival, nothing stood in the way. There were no second guesses or doubts. Just either winning or losing, and no one wanted to lose. It wasn't like it was turning someone in on the cops though. Jail time is nothing compared to what those guys would do... And though it was unclear what exactly they had planned for Sario's daughter it was obviously no good. It was never any good. Oh all people she should know. Sighing Daniel tried to lay on her side but to no avail. How uncomfortable Maybe they just want intel... Looking around she realized she didn't even have her phone. No one to call in this time of need...great. Though it was no surprise that she'd be on her own with this. Shifting once more she finally settled in a position nice enough to fall asleep on, deciding to leave these thoughts alone till the morning.………………… Tumblr › Wearing › Mood ›› Threatened › Interaction Level ›› 3
[ ◦ ♥ ◦ ♠ ◦ ♣ ◦ ♦ ◦ ] "What a wasted chance." It was a shame he did not wish to check on the others here for surely after coming out of a crash one could be so venerable. Only a shame because he was her ride home though, as she would rather do this alone. So in a way it was better like this, for she could just come back tomorrow. "Alright then, shall we head back?" [ LEVEL TWENTY-FOUR - BGM24 - STATUS: ??? - UPDATE ] It was nice being able to sit down as just standing around felt awkward enough, not to mention the sofa in which they sat had to of been one of the softest he ever felt. Everything in this place was nice, expensive looking. Oh, so instead of a manor was it a palace? This would make her a princess, wouldn't it? The princess seemed a lot calmer now and even said she wanted him to be himself which led to a smile. However that faded when he heard that, if it had been Alex, something would have happened to him. Something could still happen, though he felt relatively safe at the time being. What would she have done? "Doing the right thing is always the better choice," he replied, his heroic mindset kicking in. A speech would have happened here if there was enough energy for it. Oh, she was hurting? Anthony wished to assist with that but he didn't know how. Plus her words were distracting and drew his thoughts to his own problems. It felt wrong but it was nice to actually be spoken to and asked what was wrong as that rarely happened. Though maybe that was his fault for always pretending to be okay. So maybe, this one time, he wouldn't lie? "I'm no one special, just a wanna-be hero really..." he paused. His problems? Oh, that was a much easier question to answer. "I'm allowed to talk about my problems, I know, but..." a short breath, "dad just used to always say I should just work on them instead of talking about them. Is that right? I wish I could ask him if it changed or not but he's... Mom can't even say anything anymore. It's not fair. They were just here and now they're..." He felt off. It didn't feel like he was himself, in this body or his own. It had been so for the past few days, or week. Maybe even longer, who even knew anymore. And the longer he waited the less he stayed the same. Why was he even talking like this? It felt so weak.
[ ◦ ♥ ◦ ♠ ◦ ♣ ◦ ♦ ◦ ] Before they left there seemed to be a phone drop off. Interesting. Though it probably was just a simple return, though wouldn't it be cool if it were something more? She almost gave a dreamy sigh. Almost. Immediately after the trio began their trip to the hospital. At first it seemed like a total waste but then Harley ran off to talk to someone. 'Master Jackson'? Well that explained a lot, as the rich always seemed to get what they wanted. If only she could obtain wealth, for surely power would follow. Or even vice versa. Not like it really mattered much anymore, them being on the short timer that they were. Anyway...what to do now? That was a good question. And, after checking her phone quickly, she had an answer. "May as well check on the other victims of the crash while we're here. Or at least I shall." [ LEVEL TWENTY-FOUR - BGM24 - STATUS: ??? - UPDATE ] To look so disappointed that it was him and not Alex... Sure there must be reasons rather than Anthony just being himself but the look she had given him made his heart sink and his head fill with feelings of being unwanted. How selfish was that? Marina then began pacing and Anthony just stood there and watched. There was a lack of words. It almost felt like time to go until he was grabbed by the shoulders, forcing him to stay put. This was a strange situation. "You have to be him." ...Was that even a right thing to do? Sure he was trapped in his body but it still didn't feel okay. Seemed like he'd have to pretend to be this Alex kid a lot from here on though so here goes nothing... "Uh, alright... I'll try. Not much of a choice really..."
[ LEVEL TWENTY-FOUR - BGM24 - STATUS: ??? - UPDATE ] "No, it's Anthony," he replied as she approached him after allowing himself to be lead into another room. He would have spoken up sooner but it had been rather dazzling, the whole place, and it threw him off. Not to mention he was here to announce the death of something. She was all smiling and making strange faces. Were all rich people this weird? Clearing his throat Anthony went over the lines he practiced on the way here. "We switched bodies, yeah? So sorry, but it's just me... And, well, if you really liked him... It just didn't feel right telling you online, you know?" He took a deep breath and made sure to make eye contact, as TV made it appear very important, but once he said the next sentence his gaze fell to the floor. "He's dead."
[ Contact Information ► Mood: Conflicted + Worried + Amused ► Subject: 004; Darrius ► OOC: Rambling post as thoughts are sorted ] Before he could even protest to being the host Darrius had went ahead and pointed him out as just that. Then, they waited. ... After a few moments of silence Elliot simply blinked before returning to Google, looking through more entries before closing out of the app entirely. He should have figured this would be a waste of time. However, as much as he wished to blow this whole thing off he couldn't. There were just too many variables. Such as they could have simply needed a different summoning ritual. And Olivia said she also switched and unlike Marina he trusted her not to lie so...he was buying this whole thing. He was just still unsure how to take it. Perhaps...it could be considered a science. An experiment on a grand scale. This made Miss C a scientist like himself, and like all scientist she must wished for interesting data. What exactly those may be was lost on him though it was at least a start for him to adjust to this new setting. So what was the hypothesis? What did she want from all these subjects? What about them drew her in to pick them out of everyone in the world? It had to be potential to bring results. What results were she looking for though? Sighing from the lack of answers he mumbled something to himself. "Being able to study her would prove useful..." Maybe he could learn something from the rules? No telling anyone outside of it: controlled environment. Was she a control freak? No taking your own life: would run out of subjects before all hundred days. No deal making: ...with other demons? Oh. She really did seem like a control freak. He meant that in the nicest way though, considering how he was one too. No romance: this one confused him. Was it just to make them suffer or did she dislike romance? Or was there a deeper meaning to it? With it being a rule, and humans intent on breaking rules, she may just wished to see how they will go about it. Or perhaps it is because humans long for love, therefore using this to break them and perhaps even leading them to rule number two. Or maybe she was just one of those types who thought love made one weak and to win something like this you had to prove yourself to be strong. Interesting set of rules. Simple, short, though not very specific. That gave so much room for loopholes, was that the reason for them not being specific? Maybe proving yourself smart enough to find them was one of the major points here. Though there wasn't exactly any rule he intended to break, not at the time being anyway. Would prove fun trying some other time though, but for now there were enough issues at hand stopping him from being free to try. "Do you have anymore ideas?"
[ LEVEL TWENTY-FOUR - BGM24 - STATUS: ??? - UPDATE ] After waking Anthony found himself traveling around campus, having been told the people from the lab had the snake problem under control (who knew if that was the truth or a rumor), when he heard that he was dead. Anthony Evans, dead on campus. Boy was that weird. However, this at least gave him some clue as to whose body he was in, as his was found in front of an Alex Rhode's room. So that who was actually dead... (because making him believe this makes things easier shut up about there being hardly any evidence to it get out) There was remorse, yes, but he also felt relief for it not being someone he knew. Did this make him a bad person? He sure felt bad... Shaking it off for the time being he moved on, hearing that they may of been another incident on campus. This caused the boy to open his phone and check Tumblr to see who was still posting and if any blogs had gone quiet. It was then when he noticed a post addressed to Alex. He replied as if he was still himself, but when they then talked to Quin about the switch he figured that this girl had to be apart of this as well. He nearly told her about Alex's death and him being stuck in his body but...shouldn't deaths be announced in person? But in all honesty he just wished to get off this campus before someone else died. So he got her address and some cash before leaving to catch a cab there, finding it to be a manor or estate or... What was even the difference between these things? They all were impressive and would have left the boy in awe either way. He even had to be let in like in the movies. Once the taxi driver was paid he went inside, looking around with his mouth agape, and an otherwise lost expression. [ ◦ ♥ ◦ ♠ ◦ ♣ ◦ ♦ ◦ ] Elizabeth woke up just in time to hear Harley speak, though she remained still for a few more moments so she could think. Would it be worth going along with them this time? She didn't really think so at first but then convinced herself that it could be if this new person proved interesting. So she said she'd go but decided to go back to her dorm for a shower and a change of clothes first. Once that was settled she returned, prepped for departure.
Once no bite marks were found the doctor and nurses ran out of the room to handle the snake problem, closing the door behind them. It muffled the sounds but she could still hear rushed footsteps and shouting. However long later and things finally calmed down, signaling to her that they had either caught it or the chase had moved elsewhere. And at this point she had enough feeling to sit up and look around. Oh, so she was back in her own body. So that explains not remembering what happened to get her here. But she had hoped that Aileen would have taken better care of her body. Or could this not be helped? Looking back down at the button pressed earlier Daniel realized it was the call nurse one and it was used once more. This time a female nurse entered, asking what she could do for her. "How did I get here?" The nurse looked worried but remained smiling. "The helicopter crashed. Remember?" "Oh, right..." she replied, knowing they'd end up keeping her here longer to check for brain damage now. Oh well, at least she could have a few free meals now. Speaking of...she then asked for jello and water, causing the nurse to leave before returning with just that. After that she hurried out of there, probably busy securing the floor still. Daniel would feel bad about taking her away from her duties and making sure everyone else was safe but she hardly cared enough to. Sitting up was becoming difficult so the bed was adjusted to assist her to keep an upright position while she drank. And, oh, it was strawberry jello by the looks of it. It's been so long since she had any and it used to be her favorite so she was rather looking forward to eating it. But before she could even touch it... "So it is true." The door was closing before Daniel even noticed it had opened. And in front of it stood a dark, short haired man who spoke with a Russian accent. He was...big and covered in muscles. Definitely an underling, most likely sent as a spook. There was even the shadow of someone else at the door, waiting outside. "A Volkov has been hurt. It was tragic to hear, and course we come to help a friend. But the bills are all paid already by a Sario. A powerful man whose daughter is friend, no?" Daniel took a deep breath to steady herself before replying. And as much as she loathed it she could not hide her accent here, as many may consider it an insult to natives. "It was just a pity payment, we aren't friends. I barley know her." She didn't know her at all, though who would believe that? No one, not without knowing the body swapping event at least. The man laughed, shaking his head. "How unfortunate, 'cause you see, knowing 'er would be very beneficial for our friends. It could even say...make us forget your father's debts and wounds he cause his brother." "He can deal with his own issues. As far as I care we are not related." "There should always be respect for family. And besides, he is not very healthy at the moment. Not smart or young enough for this either," he said, picking up the jello cup and tipping it forward, seemingly using the gesture to replace a tip of a hat. "Be safe young one. We wouldn't want you to get into anymore accidents." Without even realizing it Daniel had started to hold her breath before he spoke that last sentence, releasing it once the men were gone. Now, with no one watching, she began to shake. The cause was a mixture of fear and anger, the two emotions colliding to the point where an explosion just may happen. ………………… Tumblr › Wearing › Mood ›› Threatened › Interaction Level ›› 8
[ Contact Information ► Mood: Conflicted + Worried ► Subject: 004; Darrius ► OOC: N/A ] Before Darrius replied his phone rang from the table, prompting Elliot to turn and pick it up once more. Olivia had replied again. Of all places... Why had she gone there? He began a reply, asking this very thing, when another message popped up and interrupted his typing. One from Marina, telling him those who were victims in the crash. Most were names he was unfamiliar with, but some, some... He resumed his message to Olivia. Stupid girl. If it were not for the presence of the current owner of Elliot's body and - what was that? A suggestion to summon the demon supposedly behind this? - he would head out right now despite her telling him not to go there. He eyed Darrius before looking back down at his phone, using it for Google as he searched up methods of summoning. Might as well try this so it may prove the existence or nonexistence of this C demoness. "Many sources say that it's as e-easy as having an open invitation but warn that y-you must have a specific goal in mind for summoning a demon and may have to pay a price for it. A-also says you should be respectful..." He felt silly. This was silly. Olivia was hurt and he was thinking about summoning something that, if real, may try to kill him on the spot for doing so. He just had to wonder for what reason Darrius wished to summon her.
As Yana followed the two they came upon a new world, landing in a courtyard once there. Before her was a grand castle which made the lord's manor from back home seem like a peasant's house. She had to wonder; was this how places in Haven looked? Scoffing at the thought she shook her head and looked around, noticing that there were others here as well. She stood, examining them. Were they all keyblade wielders as well?
You're free to move on now.
Her mouth opened to reply but before words could be formed a message pop up caught her attention. "Well, seems like you'll have a bit of action starting off after all," she said before finishing her meal as quickly as possible, "there's some border arguments on a lower floor. You up for this?" She then stood all the while sending Fang a message asking for him to come and see if Hayden will be up for it as well.
