I've played both and each has its own share of good and bad points. I like that in P4 you don't have to deal with dumb AI's that just serve as cannon fodder but I miss being able to use any kind of weapon because physical damage was split into categories but at the same time it's less fun doing this in boring dungeons that are all the same. It's all a matter of taste because they are so nearly equivalent.
