is not a band using screamed vocals. Metalcore (and definitely not Deathcore) is not Screamo. Bullet For My Valentine, The Devil Wears Prada, Killswitch Engage (still love you ;-; ), All That Remains, A Day To Remember, Bring Me The Horizon, etc. are NOT Screamo. And Death Metal/Black Metal/other Metal doesn't even always scream (and they sound NOTHING alike). There is growling, shouting, and whatnot too. But Screamo is a rock genre of it's own that started in the early 1990's. Some more well known Screamo bands are: Orchid Circle Takes The Square pg. 99 Hot Cross Saetia The earlier (more pioneer-ish) ones didn't really last that long, in fact most of those up there aren't together anymore. But look here for a little more info on the genre and the bands: Wikipedia link I guess Post-Hardcore could be considered Screamo because it basically just evolved into the new "Screamo" genre. Whatever floats your boat. Okay, I'm done. Felt like getting that out.
