You always have the option of booting a better OS. Most people I know that own macs at least double boot Windows and OSX so they can actually use certain programs. Most people who know what they're doing also have a Linux OS on there, too.

What?, sometimes I wonder if you're just being coy with us or if you actually are genuinely surprised when people flock to your threads or render unto you the, in my opinion, due adulation and laud. Also, don't bother yourself with posting anything for me, I was actually just voicing an opinion, not trying to get something out of you. It kind of feels awkward whenever I post thinking you feel some obligation to respond.

Should be grinding at the Storm King archstone because a male character can get like 20k souls per visit and a female character can get like 25k with the right equipment. It may be hard to get past the seethroughs and shit but the Old Hero is dead simple to beat since he's literally blind and only responds to being attacked or you being a loud motherfucker. Beating Man Eater is more tedious than hard if you do it right. And by right I mean either cheating using online play or betting a really high DPS set up with the cheap ass strength faith build and a claymore or if you've got it the Meat Cleaver which is objectively the strongest weapon in the game. I actually beat it once by cheating and once with a magic tank. But the magic tank works better in NG+.

I thought it started out pretty average actually. It was never anything special in my opinion, but it was run of the mill enjoyable for me early on in the series. I even will say that the art was almost interesting in the manga. The writing was never good enough to pull off a long series so the flaws started creeping into view after the first few arcs ended and all this junk had begun to pile up. Then the art style got cleaner and more homogenized and the writing not only began to expose its flaws, rather than trying to fix them the author kept right on making it worse by not just doing the same thing, by doing it more intensely than ever. It's a pretty common syndrome in syndicated comics that will be canceled if they can't deliver week to week results. It's partly that the writer was a failure and partly the fact that it's shonen jump.

The tradeoff for this closer to one to one relationship is fewer things are allowed to happen per episode leading to a molasses slow pace on some episodes.

It's a really quick read at least so barely started could become up to date pretty quick if you want it to be. It took me 3 days to get from chapter 1 to chapter 530~ while school was in session. But that also means that the week to week pacing is way to slow for me to enjoy it that way. When it hits 1000 I'll probably reread the whole thing.

It's a matter of taste really, I guess. Maybe I was being a bit tactless in saying it looked tacky, but I get what you mean now. I don't personally have the money for any of this so I just look at my friends' small collections.

I like it. It's pretty much a spot on portrait of the character and I love 3/4 view. My one issue is the while lines kind of stand out in certain points, like her nose and mouth and I feel like outlines shouldn't stand out, like background music they should keep everything in perspective and order without becoming the main event. There's not much to say other than that. You're good enough so that this kind of thing doesn't really test your abilities, it just works as a matter of course more than anything else.

@NubCat~: It's spelled pedantic and it doesn't mean the same thing as nitpicking. It's kind of like being showy about your knowledge or learning. Like what I'm doing right now is kind of pedantic and I don't like doing it but I prefer that people use words more or less correctly.

You say artsy. I personally think it is a little more overdone and tacky than anything else. I like the more subdued images to begin with, but I also prefer naturalistic poses and attention to consistency, movement, flow and subtle details. That Shiki figma is pretty much exactly everything I want in one.

I don't like weak gods. It comes from being very familiar with mythology perhaps, but gods shouldn't be able to die the way humans can. Your average godtouched human hero could chuck mountains in Celtic lore and the gods were still lightyears away and in Greek mythology people gained their strengths directly from the gods and wouldn't succeed at anything without the gods. So I'm a little turned off to this God of War type format where they're treated more like people with super powers, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's just something that you should be aware of.

Also, 300 words really isn't enough to get much across so I didn't really derive any entertainment value from this since basically nothing was actually exposed. You basically told me two things here: gods are pathetically weak and this evil human has something against them. It's almost a promotional trailer. Though, you proved that you can write better than your average nobody, which is actually more of an accomplishment than most people think. There are a few points where you phrase things awkwardly. For example, you don't really stab someone on their chests so much as into their chests or through their chests or something like that.

I encourage you to move further along with this and see where it takes you. You might not get a lot of replies or praise on this site, or any other for that matter, but you will get readers and if I'm in the mood the odd bit of constructive criticism. I also suggest you post some of your other work if you're looking to improve because it gives people more to go on. Either way it's good to see new posters in this section.
