They don't have objective values. The ascend/descend dichotomy doesn't apply.

They have polls on current events and random stuff. They had polls on who people would vote for in the US presidential election and they ask about interest every time a big name game franchise releases a new game. Very few of them have to do with on site activities.

Though, there is a fetish for that.

Found out about this the other day from a poll on a porn site I happen to frequent. Unsurprisingly, the population of said site was a mix of worried that the world was ending and ambivalent.

It's whatever. I'm used to being a relic from an age gone by. I'm used to not seeing eye to eye with people when it comes to books. I know people who take books they don't like and rip out pages or paint over passages and have the gall to call it art. I know that there are a lot of places where people just won't get where I'm coming from. I know that trying to preserve something you don't actually care about seems completely without point and that in the end no one cares about most of the books they'll own in their lifetime. Just remember, as much as I like you and respect you, because you mentioned that I'll always imagine you going to hell. There's nothing that's going to change that. So live well, do good and have a nice day.

Gonna be that guy and say this isn't very impressive to me. I like each of the individual cells and the sequential quality of the pictures but the arrangement of them onto a single canvas looks kind of lazy. Like it doesn't ad anything other than putting them all in one place where you can see it. I'd probably separate them with time rather than space if I were doing this. But in lieu of a .gif or an image rotator or some other image cycling method I'd try looking at a linear progression or different border shapes to make it look less, for the lack of a better word, cheap. I'm mainly pointing this all out because i seems like something is missing and that something isn't really something technical with the execution so much as the idea of the flow itself. Not that I can do graphics at all or actually know what I'm talking about here. But you know how it is. Food for thought or something.

    It means scum.
People who intentionally neglect and damage books are filth. They are on the same level as those shits who read at a book store and never buy anything. I don't believe in any particular deity or religion, but these people are going to hell. There is no way that people who can do something so wrong can get off with nonexistence. It's not enough. I can do without a heaven, but for people like this I need a hell.

If it wasn't recommended that you be rushed to the ER, you should be perfectly fine. When it comes to tendons things get a bit delicate, but even if it's a little trashed a minor surgery can make it usable again even if it's never quite right.

After more than six months away from the harsh cold of the North, I have returned with the same mission in my mind and the same fervor in my stilled heart. I have come back to finish what I've begun, the annihilation of all inferior undead. The Hollowed beings are filth. They have already been separated from the rest of society, now it is time to finish the job. Now it is time to remove them from this earth. The poor abominations roam the streets as empty husks, attacking and devouring any souls that may cross their path. Pathetic. To show such little control and prove oneself below even animals; to show that there is no self preservation instinct, no ability to grow or learn, no mind at all. Pathetic. But all is not lost, for I am here. Along with those of the same mind, I have slaughtered countless soul starved Hollowed. But try as I might, they keep returning. One looks as any other. It's hard to tell progress is being made at all. But it must be. We must be moving forward, the scars of battle, the accumulated experience wouldn't lie. With the humanity I once believed I could simply cast off as the one tenuous string, holding me from the brink of insanity I march onwards in the battle. There may be no glory for us as there was the Slayer of Demons. But we fight for the same end. A world cleansed of that base weakness. A world that will forget the darkness of the past and step into the radiance of the sun. Many of us will die again. Some will succumb to the Hollowing. But as long as there is strength in the body I will destroy them. Every last one.

Bad assumption. People don't read VNs that fast because you have to also look at the images and there are background pans and pauses and other things. By your logic I only have about 6 minutes of content finished but that's over 3000 words and I highly doubt people are going to be reading a full 500 words a minute.

My tendency to to write as much as you need and not try to structure it before you even know where you're going but I have a very loose writing method to begin with so. Also, this isn't a film or a play, it's a VN styled piece so at a minimum this thing is gonna be 4-6 hours of plot. That means each of our sections has to be the better part of an hour of reading. If we assume that a human can read as fast as they can type then they should be able to finish about 80-100 words a minute so 40-60 minutes of content will be between 3200 words and 6000 words.

I'm leaning more towards 6000 words per section myself, but it'll take as long as it takes. You can always pare down later if you have to but coming up with extra is harder and usually looks worse.
