I don't like it. Your colors are great, they set a good tone and work for the piece. Problem is those lines. I don't like the sharp transitions between stocks as it is. I makes it look choppy. The text helps mitigate that but I'm not sure if moving it, changing the font or just messing more with it will actually help connect the images more. You might have been going for the choppy flow though. I dunno, I just don't like it. If I were fixing it I'd be probably somehow extending some elements from each stock into the next. Maybe a light source held in common or physically copying or drawing more background. Eh, I dunno. I wish I could say more but this isn't really my forte.
It's decent. It's a little generic, but I don't mind common looking characters. Commoners are a good thing. Problem is the shadows on his face make him look straight horrifying. You need to look into giving the eyes pupils and do a few studies in lighting. Also, move his ear back about a scale half inch and detail it. You should be consistent within your style. Just ditching details like that looks lazy. Still, I don't know if you're trained or not so don't feel bad or good, just keep on forging on ahead.

Because my inability to buy a console doesn't change my logic for not wanting this specific series. The two may lead to the same conclusion, but one is changeable and the other is not. So if one could convince me that playing pokemon is a good idea I'd slightly lament not being able to. Right now, I just feel better for not wasting the time.

Given that I already said I dislike the game mechanically, I'll say that good enough won't cut it. I want a plot that will get me engrossed in the game regardless of how much I don't actually want to play it. Alternatively, if it's got charm and heart like the stuff EasyGameStation makes and not the tacky mass produced quality that newer Nintendo games seem to exude for me I'll give it a chance. All in all, no argument will make me play pokemon though. I'm not gonna buy a DSwhatevertheflavorofthismonthis or Pokemonwhatevertheflavorofthisyearis.
Hours of repetitive tedium that doesn't call upon me to think or acquire skills isn't fun to me. I don't want to walk around for hours acquiring little balls of fluff that I, in all seriousness, think look retarded. You can delve into pokemon and figure it out and break it like people do, but that doesn't interest me either. I don't want to go through trials and tests to see what item is optimized. Maybe if it had a good plot and interesting characters I'd be willing to sink the time, but as it is, I just can't really see the appeal.
