For me it's not a matter of the game at all. It's a matter of something hideous being allowed to exist and be accepted. I really dislike ugly things and it is from an artistic design standpoint that am displeased.
I'm not like I'm a huge fan of old Dante's design, but it looks like someone put more than one thought into it. In the end, I just put generic above contemptible on the hierarchy of bad designs.
I'd like to take this opportunity to ask if anyone here was alive when every whiny, bitchy, privileged, middle class, self absorbed, idiotic, parasitic, waste of space teenager looked EXACTLY like the new Dante. Well, do you? It was only five years ago that they flooded the streets and shopping malls. Saturated the internet with reposts of ****** music and complaints of how ****ing unfair their pathetic little lives were. It was only five years ago that people called me conformist for telling them to grow the **** up and think about something besides themselves for a change. From poorly applied eyeliner to their dirty looking dyed black hair pulled partway over their eyes it all still disgusts me. I, to this day, dislike anything that reminds me of these little shits. The game itself can be argued, but not that design. That design is horrible. It is the worst possible thing that could happen to a character. ANY CHARACTER. He looks like the kind of person the nerds would beat the **** out of in school for being such putrescent vermin. I could go on at length about this, but I'm going to end it here before it starts to sound like I'm belaboring the point.
It's fun for a while, but it's really pretty much exactly like every other romance series I've come across.
