Why can't you two just get along like reasonable people?
I expected a story all about how your life got flipped, turned upside down. I wanted to take a minute, just sit right here. Hear the story of how you became prince of a town called Bel Air.
But they aren't even shiny.
Most American spellings and pronunciations are older than their British equivalents because they came from British colonists who didn't keep up with the changes that were instituted. So if you want to blame anyone, it would be the English. Also, implying there is a better way to spell something even though language is a flawed human construct in constant motion and open to endless interpretation.
I thought that was Kitty and that he ended up sending it directly, or did he dance more than once like a dance****?
Midnight - This is the one time I'm going to let style trump execution. Why? Whether you intended for it to be or not this piece had the most power of all the entries. Everything else, I could look at for a minute and tell you exactly what I thought and move on. This one was quite different, the fact that I couldn't understand it at first only made me want to delve deeper. So I spent a good five to ten minutes looking from the wiki page on runes and back to this one translating it. When I finally understood the words I kinda laughed at myself. It wasn't a waste of time or anything, it was just kind amusing that I went to a lot of trouble over something simple or rather that something so simple made itself worth my trouble. Anyhow, I also like the symbolism with the power of both the words and the unknown. You pretty had the best interpretation of the theme and I feel like I'm going to give that its due here. Chie - It looks good and complete. Definitely an improvement over some of your past work. I'd call it the best piece this month in terms of completion, but in the end I knew that if you didn't tell me exactly what made it related to power, I'd never have known or even considered that it could be the theme. Unlabeled it looks like the theme was freedom or hope rather than power. If there was one thing I'd say to work on in general, I'd say that it's that you don't do enough original work not based in fandom. I like your style, but I'd like to see more of your personality in it. Anyhow, it was a good solid entry. Dinny - While this was probably my favorite, it had the same problem as Chie's entry. I could not have possibly known that this was a power theme without the explanation. I feel like my entry also suffers from this. If I were to give any critique on this specifically, it would be to go for more on the right side. The blue seems kind of weak compared to the green and that hurts the balance of the composition. Anyhow, good entry, would have liked to see something more explicit or at least clearly symbolic.
Spoiler This is actually only about 4/10 of what I had planned but I ran out of time and finals are coming up so asking for an extension would be ridiculous and pointless. Even though I haven't quite got her down, these are all the same character. My interpretation of power here was the ability to actualize your desires specifically with regards to making yourself whatever you want to be. The fact that I chose interpretations of Demon's Souls classes just ties in with the whole being strong thing in general.
Pick any line or lines, but do it in your best immitation of the source material.
Not rolling a up a new character for every campaign. Not playing tabletop. Not doing it right.
You're conflicted. This situation reeks of crazy nonsense and a pile of bodies and you know that you're one to avoid anything that might get nonsensical. You like your confrontations to make sense. You like it when you can tell exactly what a killer was thinking from the mess he made. But right now, you've got nothing at all. Not a damn thing. So either you sate that curiosity and follow the example of the cat in the adage or you turn back and let this be one of those crazy stories you never bother telling anyone. It's not like you've got a ton to live for, it's just you don't much fancy the thought of dying. You know it's just instinct, but you think on some level that you're just too pretty to die. As you're pondering how your looks affect your lot in life you hear an explosion from further down in the train. Well, that's interesting. You rush to a window, open it and poke your head out of it. The explosion was pretty big, the train just ends about six cars down from you now. Your god, these guys work fast. Well, no choice but to get a better look now. If you're going to survive this, you're going to have to be proactive and aggressive. The game of life favors players who can shoot first. The next car is much like the first one you found. Totally bloodless and empty, but wrecked. The next is the same. And the next. Finally, one car is left before the last one and you haven't met a soul. But in better news the gunfire has started again. Or is that bad news? Who cares? Anyhow, you have a gun and a knife in the weapons category and everything else you own got disconnected with the baggage car. Oh well, you suppose those gifts weren't meant to be. How do you proceed?
I was unaware that she was a companion and not a one off character that was a cult hit fan favorite because I don't watch that show.
I liked you better back then.
Amaury will never grasp the irony of his liking that specific post.
The whole pony thing makes no sense to me. The show basically would hit about the average if it was made more than ten years earlier. In the end, it's not that great and it is targeted at children. I also love how Doctor Who's popularity spiked right as I decided it had become shit and dropped it. But the underlying problem here is that people think it's totally acceptable to rant and rave nonstop about whatever they like without regard for other people who might be listening or watching. People have this sense of entitlement that makes them think that they're important enough for people to actually WANT to listen to them. Fact is, the rest of humanity only tolerates your existence and behavior guys. We don't accept it and we don't condone it. We just haven't made inanity a crime.
I noticed you're gangster. I'm pretty gangster myself.
You're actually comforted by the sound of gunfire. It helps calm you down like white noise does for little babies. You've been in more than enough warzones to know that it actually means death, but in the end maybe you want to be close to death. Maybe death is like a brother to you and you don't like leaving him to his own devices. Maybe you like keeping him in line and making sure he does what he's supposed to. Whatever it is, you're going to follow that sound and see what's on the other side of the train. From the sound of the fire there's about one car between you and them, so time to combat crawl. Bullets flying about randomly are gonna bite through the walls of this dinky little train like they're nothing. Good for you, won't even have to be facing half the people you kill. As you enter the car adjacent to the fire you notice a that this car is clear but totally ransacked. Looks like they actually started here and are moving away from you. You consider briefly trying to climb onto the roof before realizing you're likely to die doing that. You may like being near death, but you and he have some personal space limits that you're not willing to breach. So you continue on forward. As you exit the car, you take a moment to linger there and see if you can get a look at anything. No, they've already moved on, the gunshots are moving farther away. You survey the room for survivors. Nothing, no dead bodies, no nothing. Just a bunch of broken seats. You're starting to feel kind of uneasy now. [] Continue after the gunfire. [] Turn back. [] Check the roof again.
Since I actually care what you think, I'm gonna go against my normal custom and be one of those impressions guys. But in a little more seriousness, what's your favorite manga artist who started with a well known doujin career? Who's your khv bestgirl? Bonus round: Real life bestgirl? Which servant class are you? Ransah, Bahsahkah, Seiba, Casta, Assassassas-- gate hobo, Achah, Raida
It's cool, the bitches will burn in hell for their lack of vision.
Using lyfe not preceded by thug. Ever. You are right to hate them.
