    Have my children. Now.

I've been trying to think of "unpopular opinions" I have and I can't really think of many that are all that interesting.

    1. I don't believe homosexuals have the right to get married. Within religions that are against it. Getting married by court on the other hand is something they do have a right to. Separation of Church and State, people.

    2. We have the resources and manpower to continue with space exploration. If you can't admit that space exploration has given some of the greatest advances in science within human history and still has the potential to give so much more, then go live in Canada. The human race has no need for you.

    3. I don't like Canada simply because they never declared independence. Seriously, their Queen would hardly take offense to it and it's not like they would need a war to do so these days. Is Canada too cool for independence? Sure it wouldn't really make a difference to anyone but still...

    4. Strange double standards girls seem to bring up. "Don't take it personally if a girl does..." is something I saw posted a few minutes ago(not on KHV). First example that popped into my mind but something like that implies that if a guy does this said "thing" then the situation would be completely different and offense should be taken. I suppose I'm not making much sense here. Basically, if you start setting up gender-specific standards and still expect to be treated like an equal, I won't have any problem being genuinely sexist with you.

    5. Everyone should learn basic physics. Not even the math portion of it. Just enough so that stupid comments like "if they drill into the Earth they might let all the gravity out" never happen.

    6. The Beatles aren't that great. Influential and popular? Yes, but not great.

    7. Classic Rock versus modern day rock? Modern rock wins every time. Notice how I didn't say mainstream rock.

    8. I liked Snow from FFXIII much more than Lightning. You'd think after all the complaints Cloud got for being "emo" people would latch onto Snow. Lightning was whiny and didn't want to do anything to make the situation better. Snow actually tried getting things done. Sure he had cheesy lines but when you've got a great theme song, it's easy to let that slide.

Henrik laid down on the couch, having said good night to Iris already. Whatever time he had not spent preparing for tomorrow he had used to strengthen his abilities. He could not help but feel guilty at having such dark thoughts on the day before their--Henrik shook his head and sighed. Feeling guilty was not helping either of them. The thought of bringing death to another, even one such as Temeluchas, was supposed to be some kind of soul-breaking unthinkable action. That was what he had been taught but now it was the only thing that plagued his mind. It probably wouldn't end there either. Another angel could just take her place and threaten his family. Still, it was the only course of action he had considered. Was it really so terrible to kill in defense of one's family?

He looked off to the side as he fixed his eyes on an old lamp Iris had brought home a few days ago. She had complained that it did not fit in with the decor of the rest of the house and, with no one she knew being interested in buying it, had been planning on throwing it out. Henrik offered to paint it but Iris refused. Looking at it now, he had to agree that it was a bit too...rustic for their home. It was little things like this that he enjoyed the most. If he had been just human things like this would be all they had to worry about. Now Iris was ill and even though it seemed like she hadn't been getting worse at the rate she had been before she wasn't getting any better either. Henrik clenched his fists. The metal casing of the lamp began to deform and crumple up until it looked fully deserving of being tossed into the junkyard. He smiled faintly. 'In time that'll be you, hässlich.' He fell asleep once his mind settled down.

"Looks like that's everything." Henrik smiled faintly at Iris now that they had wrapped up their preparations for the next day, taking a seat at the couch before Iris took her place at his side. He reached his hand out towards the remote at the far end of the table in front of them.

"Wouldn't that be an abuse of power?"

"Can a tool be abused?" The remote did not budge on Henrik's mental command. He frowned and tried once more. Once again, nothing happened. With the thoughts of the day to come his concentration kept slipping. He grew frustrated causing black mist to form around his hand as he tried yet again. This time the remote rocketed off the table and soared past him almost smacking him right in the face. The remote crashed into the wall behind the two causing the battery casing to come loose leaving the batteries to fly out. Luckily that was the worst that happened. "Well...not bad for my first time moving something that size." The mist faded as quickly as it had appeared. The pain that came to his head was not as bad as it was when he had first begun practicing.

"Don't scare me like that again." Iris scolded.

Henrik nodded as he knelt down to pick up the batteries and lid for the remote, sticking things back in their place as soon as he had all the pieces. Anger and even frustration made his powers stronger but under the stress of such emotions it made fine control of his ability nearly impossible. At least, that's what he could tell. Though it might have been an obvious observation it gave him a few things to think about. Things he could use to his advantage. 'Vengeance. That's what I do. Is anger really associated to that though? Getting angry makes me stronger...would feeling vengeful enhance that?' That only brought up more questions. What exactly was feeling vengeful? Henrik knew that he wanted to get back at Temeluchas after everything that had happened but was that really enough? Could there be some more righteous "angelic" perspective that would allow his powers to grow faster? He wasn't sure if he should abandon emotions entirely when it came to dealing with his powers.

    "Henrik?"

    "Hm?"

    "You're spacing out."

"Oh. Sorry. You wanted to watch something, right?" Iris shook her head in response to his question. "Oh right, I did, didn't I?" Iris nodded at him. "...Um...remind me what I wanted to watch."

The amount of effort it would take would end up making the plot worse than it already is. Besides, what's Kingdom Hearts without a messy plot? Not Kingdom Hearts is what I say!

You can order your crew to sing and increase the "playlist" through collectibles in the game. That's something new.

Releasing KH3 in a series of "episodes".

    Adding Lightning.

    Making the plot less convoluted.

    More singing minigames.

    Adding Lightning.

Being released on the PS5 because Nomura wants Sora's hair to look hyper-realistic.

Man of Steel was the best live action Superman movie to date as well as the best live action DBZ movie(leave the internet if you don't understand this joke). I don't get why so many people whine about its ending though. They must have never looked deep into Superman's comics.

"Wah Superman wasn't supposed to kill Zod."

"Wah why didn't Superman save more people by taking the fight out of Metropolis?"

Stop crying about it and pay attention to how the story was presented. Zod was intent on slaughtering everyone. He's a better fighter than Kal and had absolutely no reason to allow himself to get dragged somewhere where there would be less collateral damage from the battle. Phantom Zone wasn't an option, the World Engine wasn't around to weaken him, there's no Kryptonite, so Supes had absolutely no alternative other than killing Zod.

Really hope that this movie doesn't have a "Batman beating Superman" scenario. We really don't need another Batman vs Superman movie. This better end in superbatbromance.

"You haven't heard the news, have you?"

    "No, why?"

    "Another plane crash..."

Henrik dropped the dice he had been practicing his powers on. He had made progress, but not enough to be satisfied. He looked at Iris, studying her face closely, before answering. "Closer to home?" She nodded at him before taking a seat on the couch beside him. He had been so wrapped up on gaining better control over his powers that he had not paid any attention to anything but the bare essentials. He had even slept outside of their room and avoided contact with Iris since Danel's last visit. The recent disaster was not the only thing troubling her. "I'm sorry I haven't been-"

    "I know. I understand."

He looked down. Iris had been showing despite being only a little more than a month pregnant. Nephilim. That's what he was left to assume was in her womb. He had too many questions as to what it really meant outside of the obvious fact that Nephilim weren't entirely human and he could not turn to Danel again. Looking it up using outside resources hardly seemed reliable so he was left with the only option he had to start with. Getting stronger.

It seemed Iris caught Henrik's glimpse and placed a hand on her stomach. "I remember you told me once that you didn't want children."

    "Uh-huh..."

    "When did that change?"

Henrik clasped his hands together and shrugged. "It happened some time between our first date and getting engaged." He shook his head and smirked. "You practically forced me to ask you out. I don't get how you could have put up with someone like me. I wasn't exactly the most social type."

"I did not force you!" Iris folded her arms and looked down. "What if we had twins?"

"If you're trying to give me a heart attack, it's not going to work." Henrik scoffed. "Aren't the chances of that somewhere around three and four percent?"

    "So you've looked it up?"

"Of course not." Henrik lied, turning away. "Besides, there aren't any twins in my side of the family so it's unlikely."

"Maybe there's some on my side that I haven't told you about." Iris teased before getting up and heading over to the kitchen.

Henrik rubbed his forehead, the pain was intense but at least today it was manageable. No pain, no gain. At least that's what conventional methods taught and who was to say that going about it the conventional way was wrong. No one else had told him otherwise and how many were around capable of teaching him better? Henrik stood up, planning to help Iris with dinner. Or rather, to convince her not to do anything given her condition. "Iris?" He called to her as he headed to the kitchen. The plane crash was a reminder that things were going to get much worse before they got better...if they got better. He did not know how much longer he could keep pretending to be normal, but at least there was one thing he could offer Iris. "I have an idea."

    Radiation

Well apparently there isn't Gamma radiation...I think. But Beta radiation isn't very good. Alpha radiation is something that can practically be ignored though. Plus I don't know exactly how far it is from El Paso...might not be directly on Fort Bliss but somewhere nearby. >>

    Radiation

A military base(Fort Bliss) nearby used to store radioactive materials decades ago. Now it's leaking all sorts of bad radiation. Alpha, Beta, Gamma, the whole Greek alphabet.

Well, time to be melodramatic and write that will.

"Do you think staring at it will work?"

"It's been an hour, so I guess not." Henrik folded his arms as he took eyes eyes off the white die on the table and turned towards Iris. She kept her distance as he had instructed. As soon as she woke up he wasted no time in explaining what happened the previous day. Naturally she was upset that he had brought other angels to their home but understood that he was trying to get a grasp on the truth of the situation. He had to keep them from harming her and the only way he could was by gaining control over his powers. He had a reason to push himself. "I broke that stone Danel gave me without even touching it. Sending some kind of mental command isn't enough. That's not the right state of mind. It's not what went through my head yesterday."

"Why don't we just take this to a lab and-"

"As much as I'd rather take a scientific approach, I don't believe that'll be helpful in this case." The metaphysical could not be quantifiably measured by the scientific method. Even if there was something they could observe with standard instruments there was nothing that would tell him how to better control his abilities and brain scans would be a waste of time as he would first have to use his powers to have some kind of representation of what his brain was doing...and by then the experiment would be redundant. He had already come to this conclusion last night. "I think I've got it."

    "I don't see it moving."

"No, I mean...what I need to be thinking." Henrik closed his eyes and took a deep breath before opening them once more. Six dots. That was the side facing up now. He accepted this as the truth. Not a one as what his eyes told him, but a six as he knew it to be. The die rolled backwards before orienting itself to match Henrik's perception. A six was now facing up. "Maybe it's not so much of a command for movement as it is forcing reality to bend to what I want it to be. It might work on similar concepts to quantum mechanics if I'm right." He took in a deep breath and leaned back in his seat. "All this concentration's given me a headache."

"Maybe it's like a muscle? It'll take longer to tire yourself the more you practice?"

Henrik nodded as he placed a hand to his forehead, rubbing it. "Yeah. There's probably a lot of rules that I need to figure out." Now that he moved something small the natural assumption was that he needed to move something larger. That wasn't his plan. He wanted to gain fine control over this ability first otherwise there would be no point in moving something larger. He knew he should have felt proud to accomplish something in such a short amount of time but being as smart as he was, it was hardly anything impressive. Henrik knew that if he wasn't strong enough to fight off Temeluchas by the time she came demanding for his unborn...no, that wouldn't happen. He would get stronger. No other option existed. That angel had to die.

Just coming back into this thread to say that Abrams Trek is really good. Even by Star Trek standards. Doesn't seem like anyone's implying it's bad but I must say this. Of course it's not TNG good but it's at least better than TOS(and I love TOS).

Henrik growled lowly, turning towards Danel before heading opening the front door. "I'd watch my back if I were you. With the company you keep, I don't see you living much longer." He directed to the remaining angel before heading inside and closing the door behind him. There was only one thing he needed to do now. Get stronger. At least then he would be able to fight off Temeluchas when the time came for her to come after his unborn. For now though, it was time to get some rest. He could not hone his powers if he was working with a clouded and weary mind. Instead of heading to bed with Iris, Henrik took a spot on the couch downstairs. Perhaps, if he stayed away from her, he could manage to slow down the deterioration of her health. He then went to sleep in this really short post because Arch was tired and stuff.
